A New Fiber of Being...

Bloodhearte walks to the mummy tomb is secrecy, assuring himself that nobody is near. He pulls out his mirror, to communicate with Drahken at long last.
"Fortinbris, you are truly laughable. You obviously weren't mature enough to handle resurrection of the dead, and certainly remain mediocre in many, many other ways. I still wonder why I bother with you as a servant..."
"Lord, I apologize once again, but harvesting power is difficult in these times..."
"I already knew you would think of such. That is why I wish to use you for...an experiment. You see, soul harvesting IS a difficulty as so many already know the ability of the mirrors. I have made dealings with Cherga, and she agrees to help. If not souls, what can you collect? Blood. The Lord of Blood and Bones, obviously, appreciates bloody sacrifices. This can be an alternative to the already difficult task to collecting souls in the mirror. Take this tool..."
A very long, thin dagger of a black color appears in a glimpse of fire in Bloodhearte's hand.
"The Cursed Athame. With it, you cover the blade with the blood of mortals, and let it drip onto the mirror. With this process, the blood will be transfered to us, strengthening the Lord. Unfortunately, this dagger is hardly a decent weapon for piercing flesh. Therefore, you need a dramatic change...a change, from your humanity. It begins now..."
There is a short, painful flash of energy toward Bloodhearte, and he stands effortlessly.
"I understand, this is not a granted power...but rather, a change in identity. I am no longer Fortinbris Bloodhearte."
Drahken disappears from the mirror, and the new being walks away from the tombs.
