DAY OF DUELS

Me and my dear Friend Pronon are hosting a day of duels, their will be,food,music, Challenges, & more.....it will be held on monday at 10:45 ((gmt - 6, or centrail)) the challenges inculde Mellee,Magic,archer, and free for all!
you must be invted to be in the challenges,but anyone is welcome to watch or eat ((wich does cost money...were not rich after all)) admissionis 15 gold

those he are invited must post here wich challeng or challenges they will be in, if you were not invited but want to compete please post here and we will consider. also each challenger will put 25g in a pot the winer well get a prize payed for by the pot ((or the pot it's self)) Oh...and beting on the fights is allowed please tell Pronon or me of your bet. I hope that this day does not turn into a giant war. I have a feeling that an orc will get angry when losing to a duel. Then, the orc will wander around town trying to kill people. I doubt this will happen, but I fear something like this might happen.

Or someone could pull out thier sword in the middle of a duel of fists. That also could cause problems. I am hoping to not see a lot of ghosts on this day.

Ah...I have thought of this that's why I need some strong fights to help keep the peace aslo I'm working on rules if broken you will be repoted....I'll keep everyone updated.......juat a few more things Crosis will be there as a healer/reiver if this go wrong I also need more people who would do this job! as for food we have a fair amount enough to feed many,but we have no drinks...if any one would like to donate please get it touch with me or Pronon before monday..that's all for now thanks.

another update....I've have deiced that due two the skills of each Combatant there are now three class to sign up for the are as follows:
Squire (newbies)
swordsman (intermedate)
Kinght (Adept)



Alright I don't want to seem like a jerk but.....if you sign up you have to put which challengs you doing (mellee,Magic,Acrher,free for all) and which class your in (Squire,swordsman,Kinght)

Mahiem=grapes 3,apples 1,cherries 2 (i think)
Berengar=25 Ale
Arkadia Misella=500 grapes,100 cherries ,50 ale ,50 apples,two ingots to be spit in to the pots
Pronon Palmsuger=100 Grapes, 45 fish, about 50 apples, 10 cherrys

RULES

basic rules: no kill unless on Accedient. No fighting unless in a duel (this mean a duel during the challengs not a duel with your friend Because you feel like it) abusetly NO fights with or in the crowd for ANY reason. abuseltly NO Attacking a healer/riever.

Mellee rules:you are allowed to wear what ever amour you have, & any weapon you own.No casting,No two sheilds.no attacking the crowd, or healer/riever

Magic rules: you can wear any amour you wish, you can use a wand if you wish.two sheilds are NOT agnist the rules HOW EVER,you cann't use a sword,axe,fist,etc. No casting on crowd, or healer/riever

archer rules: you can wear any amour you wish,if you run out of arrows you lose,No shooting at the crowd,or healer/riever.No useing any weapons beside you bow.No casting.

Free for all rules:you can where any amour,use any weapon,attack, Cast,and shoot (bow) No attacking the crowd or healer/rieve....

I think that should cover the rules. I'm asking that Lyrenzia foundation take care of any rule breakers as if the are killing without reason,endangering the puplic.....thank you

In hand-to-hand combat you might want to introduce the rules 'no potions' and 'no two shields.' Imagine the boredom of two people two shielding and never hitting anyone.

Will there be a 1st 2nd and 3rd place prize money?

Also you could give out golden goblets as tropheys.

if we don't get more Combatants there will be NO "Day of Duels" all entries must be in by 9:00 monday moring.

((I see a problem here. People with really good fighting skills will sign up for the Squire class just to guarantee a chance at winning. this will be unfair to the ones who are actually newbies. They would not have a chance.))

but I will surely enjoy watching it

I already said what i wanted

I have an idea to test a person. get a strong guy and make the person who is to be tested attack the strong person and see the damage caused and his speed.

Like maktan said. Have one person from each category (someone you know fits that category) test each entrant in a duel. If the person is right for that category than the fight should come out pretty even.

((That's the only way I can think of unless you get a GM involved.))
((Heck, I don't even know which class my character would be in myself. We don't have a skill bar to show us so I'm clueless.))

Also the people who have been on the island for awhile usually know who is good fighters and who is not. Others could probably tell if someone is in the wrong class.
