No offense to any of our newer people and i relise it doesn't accually say anything anywhere (not that i know of) but the name of the island is "Trollsbane", not Illarion. Illarion is the game, Trollsbane is where the people live. Serpardum told me it was a somewhat tropical environment, often hot, we will be getting banana trees sometime

Actually, Illarion is the name of the island, Troll's Bane is the name of the town.

i thought Illarion was the name of the entire world, not just the island

And currently the whole world is just the island

only in RL terms, Hermie. For our characters there is an entire world out there, so it would be wrong to label the island as Illarion IC.

What, our lovely island dont have a name? I allways called it Illarion.. but if it doesnt have a name then there should be found one fastly!

Very constructive proposal Cerd, i thought we try to scearch here for a good name for the isle? You don´t own the land, so is there no reason to name it after the name of your char. Next time, every person come up with the same idea like you.


@Aragon , the name sounds a little bit to kitschy for me, but if the history speak about the "Isle of Hope" we should consider to take the name.

the name shouldnt be a word of a race, then ts unfair to the other races. Trollsbane is fine

howabout the island be called Troll. I dunno I thought it would sound good if it were the town of trolls bane located on the island of troll...

I say we have a "Name the Island" contest. One person (preferably a GM) be assigned to recieve the entries. Everyone PM your entry to the judge. The judge will then pick out the 10 best entries and start a poll where everyone can vote on the best name for the island.
