Dear citizens of Troll's Bane,

I would like to tell you that if you find the town in embers, do not mourn, for it is a good thing. The town needs to be reborn, like a phoenix. I will gladly die a martyr for my cause if I must, but it is sad that people don't realize the greatness of someone's work until they are long dead.

Signed,
Paul Laffing

You intend to burn the town?

Dear Hermie,

The way I see it, I will not succeed. I will either be thrown in a cellar and locked away or killed. The latter seems more probable, but hopefully someone will take up my righteous cause.

Signed,
Paul Laffing

Even though desctruction and creation are the circle of life, is what you intend to do not the right way to "save" Troll's Bane. You are going to bring death, pain and suffering to the innocent citizens of our town, people who already lost their homes once in the great chaos on the mainlands and found refuge on this island.
If you believe that you are doing this for a good cause then you are too blinded to realize the madness of your actions.
I recommend you to take some time for yourself at some quiet place, and think about it thoroughly, consider all the painful consequences, and then return and tell us that you still wish to burn down Troll's Bane.
If you insist in your mad plans you will have to be stopped. You will not be killed as long as I am around to prevent it, but you will have to be removed from the streets of the town, either by exile or imprisonment. Either option gives you enough time to follow my recommendation above, if you did not already do so.

Adano Eles is such a honorable peaceful man, I can only bow for.
But, Paul Laffing, let me tell you that: I am not like Adano, and when I find you casting flames in town, I will try to kill you. I will not wait of any reaction, and I will only tell you once to stop. What you announced to do is a felon and therefor I will attack you wherever I can.
Eldan knows I’m not a fighter, I do not wear neither weapons nor armour. But with the strength of my fingertips I will break your neck.
For me, someone like you is a public enemy, no matter if you’re insane or not. I will flog your spells out of your brain, believe me, dear.

Bloodhearte approaches from the shadows, his long black hair covering most of his back around the red cloak he wears. When he sees this message, he grows slightly irritated.

Paul, I strongly advise you not to go on this silly crusade to "cleanse" the town. Don't you see? This town is beyond cleasing, and only a fool would attempt to change it. I don't know if this was some long term effect due to your ressurection, but you must attempt to be clever if you wish to execute your views better.

I will be one to tell you, from "idiot-experience," that being a pyromaniac isn't going to solve anything. You may like the thought of Trollsbane burning down, as do many, but I can assure you that it will take more than flame and will to win a battle against the ignorant masses.

If you choose the other path, then good for you. But keep in mind, burning anything that has to do with my life won't guarantee you a very long life from my hands.

With a finished hand, Fortinbris disappears into the shadows once again.

The whole plan makes sense. I wish you good luck. I'm going to go attempt to drain the sea. Farewell.

Burn trollsbane?

Admirable idea!

Town has strong walls, and people willing to defend it.
Evil mages and magic also!

I will drink with clansmen for your cause but not join your crusade.
No, no, too dangerous to attempt...for now.

umm...uh...yub...
