I am having trouble creating my character.
everytime i try i get this message:

I have win98 and directx.
is there anything i can do, i'm dying to play

it looks like your computer has some trouble there...
try reinstalling directx and/or windows...

i tried re-downloading the game instead.
now instead of an error, i get "name already in use" . but i can see it's not just me. judging from some of the newer posts others are also having this problem. guess i'll just keep trying. thanks
