Ok. Imagine what you get When there is a species of Elves that came Between Elves and Dark Elves. That is what a Grey Elf is.I Know there are at least two of us on the island. Me, and the other does not want me to tell anyone of their name. What I wish to know is if there are any other of us here.
You may post any questions you have here. I may or may not be able to answer them.

What is the story behind such a race and what is their place of origin? These would all be interesting things to know.

Even though I am one, I do not know much about them.I did not grow up among my own kind, and many records of them have been lost or destroyed.

So such knowlegde about them has been lost over the ages. Well then, I think this is something worth investigating sir. Would you be interested in answering the unsolved mysteries of your own race? First questions you could ask yourself or do is,"How am I different and similar to both drows and elves." I know you could seek out Cain Freemont. He may know some knowledge on this. I'll confront him later to see if he knows anything about them. I've heard a rumor that there is a type of elf for every element. Perhaps the Grey Elves are one of an element as well like the ice elves. But I know not much of these things as I am only a human. One of the race of man that dwells in much mystery of other races all alike. What would you know if you were one? Well as you can see I talk on and on alot too. Well tell me what you think you could do.

There is a great variety of Elves. This is because they are such an old species, and many have..changed.Most Grey Elves are completely Grey. The behaviour of Grey Elves can change at any time....One moment we may be angry, and the next we could be perfectly happy. It's quite difficult to pinpoint out personalities because of this. But it is true that many of us are shy, and tend to shun the company of other Elves.

After some research in the library Elaralith comes forth with the following knowledge:
Grey Elves: They are a sub-species of Elves among the many other sub-species. (Refer to Volume III for a complete listing of all the sub-species of elves) What makes the Grey Elves unique is not their physique, but their ways. They are a people that have traditionally cut themselves off from the rest of the world which they consider frivolous and beneath them. To find a Grey Elf alone away from seclusion is a rare sight. Because of this few can give a correct description of the physical features of the Grey Elves. In such secluded locations as mountain tops, deep forests, and even remote islands do the Grey Elves live. From the Grey Elves, many talented magic-users can be found. The goal of every Grey Elf is to obtain the most knowledge that they can. Physical labour the Grey Elves consider beneath them. Stories of slaves working for the Grey Elves are totally untrue. To get necessary items the Grey Elves that they do not themselves produce, the Grey Elves trade. To be sure, there is little that is known of the Grey Elves due to their great secrecy and aim to remain hidden...perhaps one day more shall be revealed.

These Drow and Grey Elves that have trickled into this town recently interest me greatly. The Drow create nothing but war and destroy all that is created, and the Grey Elves are very secretive and secluded. The stories of a "lost child" are almost never heard of so I am weary of those from the two races who claim this. Perhaps the creatures are taking the people's hospitality to their advantage. The future shall render a significant thing to observe.
