Dear Citicizens of trollsbane,
People are building a wall around the town. How does thou feel about it?

It is useless to start yet a poll about the townwall. Because we said perennially again the town wall isn´t ready, and many things will be chang in the current size.

You don´t know how it will look, if the wall is ready, so why do you make now a poll? You will judge over something which isn´t finished?


Btw.: How do you think this should work? First we built it and tomorrow demolish it again? I think it is a little bit to late. Two days before the wall by the taverne was built was a letter written down at the shopboard. Nobody said something.

What good are gates, if they rise! They will only waltz back in, just as they have always.

I dont think that the walls are a good idea. They seem to limit our space. We cant easily expand the town.

Besides! Our town is as boring as apples! We need SOME excitement!

Seth Valor, you are a crazy man if you enjoys the town being endangered and you seem to have no clue about our enemies...
If you want excitement then go to some monster caves... don't risk the lives of everyone else!

If you are saying that I would die from any sort of attack (except nechromancers of course....) Then you are mistaken. The whole towns population would not die, just some of it. And, besides. Most of the attacks come from the towns own citicenzs!

How are walls going to stop demons from marching in? They could easily make the walls collapse by punching it a few times! Walls wont keep monsters out...

As I said, if you don't care about other people's lives, that's your own business. Other people here care about each other's safety.

Do you think it is easier to keep enemies out if they can enter in a big bunch at anywhere they want or if they can only come in at certain spots that we can watch?

Walls don't help? How absurd! Go suggest to every castle and fort city in the world to take down all their walls then!

I still don't agree with the walls. Not until I see better quality and that it does not cause extra trouble for us.

And that needs time.

And nobody have an advantage, if you say daily like all other,too that you don´t like the wall yet.

Well, i think the new townwalls are useless. They could have spent the money otherwise. The wall destroys the nature, why dont you keep it as it has been a long time?

If you could explain or draw the picture for me, I could help you solve the problem. I used to study tactical engineering. Or you could wait till I settle down in the town, and then I could help.

You have studied how to build walls, what a waste of time. Put one rock on top of another rock and you have a wall!!

How effective are the walls? Perhaps you could built two watch towers with people on them on each side of the city gates. Archers would protect the town and switch each other.

How serious are the monsters around here? I have seen some wicked beasts in my life, but do not know much about local creatures.

Do demons scare thee?? We have demon skeletons too!! They will tear most to many pieces!!

I have heard that most demons had vanished from this land.
As for being afraid of them - no, I am not. However, it is better to be aware of your enemies rather then ignoring them.
