Whenever I press escape, I am brought to the infamous blue error screen. Any way that this can be stopped...it has only started since today.

Well the only thing _I_ can think of is try Norton system check... Those blue screens have to do with the registry of you system... If its corrupted you WILL get the..... *says in a deep evil voice* "BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH" I had that happen a couple of times. Norton fixed it... BTW what windows ya running?

Yeah same here. Well sounds like what i had. If you CAN try to get Nortonsytem works or at least a demo of it.

I have figured it out...every time this happens, the previous time I turned off the computer, I did it incorrectly...

A warning for you all...

An even more reliable way... Don't use Windows 98 - use 2000 or XP.

Much more stable.

yes I use XP professional and it is great for a speedy Illarion

to quit I usually press Ctrl alt delete and end the task for illarion
