It is not random. You need to build up your poisoning skill. I'm sure Reda knows more than I about the subject.[/i]

There is a way of improving your chances of successfully poisoning someone, I have tried it in the past with a char (can't remember which one) and it worked. But I am not going to say what it is here, and neither should anyone else, I think it would spoil the game.

That's rather trivial...Xerake himself fails a lot at poison, but Xariner, another lizard, can successfully poison almost everytime...
I think it may be linked to druid skill in actually making the poison. Xariner did it quite frequently, whereas Xerake only does it on...special occasions.
