My computer crashed and I had to substitute my mother board because it popped... now I have my computer back and all is working, Direct X is in place, I had a backup of my character on my father's computer so its not a problem.. I can connect to the game but after a few seconds everything stops and my computer makes some noises when I hit a key so I have to reboot because nothing else works... If this isnt some kind of configuration problem I'm afraid my days of Illa are over...

What graphics card are you using?
I have this problem as well, it happens to me after being about 1-5 minutes in illarion, I even tried different operating systems, it's all the same, I tried different drivers, I even tried to disable certain cards, downtacting the graphics-RAM, ...
What I found out that it is the graphics processor which causes this behaviour. Maybe together with the main board.
I'd be interested in your systems components (besides the graphics card) as well.

The new main board is a Soyo because there is no Intel replacement for Pentium III here anymore. My video card is a Nvidia TNT2. Processor is 1Ghz and 256RAM. Direct X is version 8.1. I really don't understand much about computer stuff so if there is anything missing tell me.. Its a rather good computer because of the programs I use for school. I don't know much about the configurations either, so if there is anything you can help me with I'd appreciate it.

Hello Kalypse,
What graphics driver are you using for your Nvidia TNT2 card?
Some Nvida drivers and Illarion do not like each other. I have found the lates driver; 43.45_win2kxp_international Illarion does not like it.
If you are using the new Nvida driver or a diffrent driver than you did before you computer had a promblem. Unistall it and use the one you were before you computer had its fault.
