I do not know if these have been proposed, but I haven't seen a topic on this board, so here it is.
Proposal- Tailors will be able to make weapons out of leather. These weapons would be a "whip", "leather strap" and a "throng".
Purpose- Tailors are already poor, being able to make leather weapons would help them make money.

A whip would be a distance weapon, you could strike from 3 spaces away and do a fair amount of damage.

A leather strap would go under the concussion weapon list, you could buy two and place it in your hands. They are peices of leather, they were used in Gladiator fist fights, I saw them on Conquest, history channel.

And a throng is like a whip but has 7 leather whips on it. So it does more damage then a whip, but maybe you can only use it 2 spaces away.

I hope you guys understand this and I hope the game designers take this into consideration and possibly implement it later on.

Heh. I was thinking then....leather weapons would have to be whips of somekind.

Are there slings in this game already?Because if not they could be a leather weapon too.

A leather throng, elaborately braided and with a weighted tip. Very useful for both combat and non-combat situations, but not overly powerful as a weapon.

Of course the character would need to purchase metal pellets from a blacksmith or find stones for the sling.


I rather like this idea of leather weapons.
