Hermie and his Erratic Nature...

With a chuckle and a quill, Xerake writes quickly, a message...
Just last night, Hermie fell into the bushes near the shop of Trollsbane...he was foaming at the mouth, and seemed disturbed. An elf and I attempted to clean him up and awaken, him...we completed those tasks, but didn't get a favorable result...
He awakened, thinking the elf and I were both pirates. I merely thought he was humoring me, so I said such phrases as 'Argh matey,' and 'I'll walk ye off the plank with this here blade!' Unfortunately, he responded in a rather defensive way, holding up his sword trying to wade us off. He was clearly disturbed, so I hit him with my weapon. He was bleeding a bit, but he was still convinced we were pirates...the wounded elf and I hit him unconcious, cleaned him up once more, and I gave him a wind potion with a few healing ones to clear his mind. I was glad he was weaker than his normal self, or we would've been slain...
This time, he suffered from a minor amnesia, but regained his memory slowly as it worked. We tended to his wounds, and left afterwards describing what happened...
I request that members of Trollsbane take caution, and simply don't kill this hobbit because he acts funny; it may be that odd mindset he's trapped into...
