It was soon after I met Cain Freemont. I was wandering the town in search of a smith. My saw seemed to of broken. I need to find a smith to help me continue my work. After finding three newcomers of the island, I noticed a small halfling near me. A bright flame appeared near me, followed by two more. A hobbit approched me a said, "Give me chain armor and I'll stop." I was not very pleased of this. Soon later, a dwarf gave the halfling his chain armor. However, the halfling did not stop. I was told his name was Silin. I quickly made a painting of the scene...

I was not pleased of this at all. I have been in the forest for a long while, I come into the town only to see this. Is there anything that anyone could do?

Aye, whilst I was searching the rocks and stones for metal and gems, this wretched fool crept behind me and began his assalt.. I fought back, but then he ran away, the cowardly imp! Then he decided to further attack us with fire. By Fates, I escaped the fires.

I watched the whole deal as the dwarf tried to appease its rage.

I can vouch for the truth in this, the Halfing would not stop despite the demanded item being delivered.

The...the ingratefulness of these times..

Theoren Longmark shakes his head in disgust. He pulls the hood down over his eyes and leaves.

this silin, he is trouble, not only that..... but weak as well.. If he comes upon you and threatens you do not fear him, if you were to fight back, he would run... He is not handy with magic either.... the only thing he can do from what I have seen is make fire...
freo sighs and mumbles 'gives halflings a bad name'

Silin has been dealt with. I do find what you said interesting about him giving hobbits a bad name. You must remember that Silin is not the only halfling to cause trouble. There have been many in the past, and there are quite a few today. Remember, not all halflings are bad.

Yes, that is true. Not all halflings are bad. Most halflings that I see do cause a lot of trouble. Looks like they like to steal, eat, and follow me. I am very scared of some halflings. One day a ghost of a halflling was following me around. He told him to go to the cross, he didn't listen. He must of been really bored. The little halfling saw me dig for nuggets the entire day that day. Har, har, har...
