Hi all,

since many complain:

we have about 1600 mails right now.
from several we have multiple mails (expl. FockeWolf, eric bruce)

also interesting names like "darkslayer", "nervenbündel", "DamiontheDevilslayer", "crackerjoe"

so dont wonder if it takes quite some time, for mails to be answered, since just deleting unnecessary ones takes up valuable time.

and above mentioned names are deleted without answer

mhmm.. maybe we should put them to the spamfilterlist?? mhmmm

Heh, thats pretty amusing. I still don't know whats wrong with Firenze, though. There probably is a town called Galdriel, or a town called Paul, or a town called Fieps for all we know!

There exist a town called Fieps? hu? Never heard. Could i ask you where it lies?

And with your name its a other thing, because you have a "first name" and a "last name"...

I'm not saying there is a town called Fieps, but for all we know there might be.

I would like to inquire whether people with existing accounts can request new characters, because i just saw the latest news.

No, but i dont like people testing my Patience, which starts to run low, just as Martins. If you look at the Number of Mails - THINK - THINK AGAIN - THINK YET AGAIN and you will get the Anwer yourself.

"Firenze" sounds fine to me. The person that created that name probably did not know a city in RL was named "Firenze"....and also it has a nice "illarion fantasy air" around it that I like.

But if names from games and things are banned then a couple of players here should by rights be deleted i think this should be re thought because if this was absolutely strict then illarions best roleplayer dyluck would have to change his name.
I feel maybe you could of been a bit harsh to the firenze guy on that and as elarith said its a nifty name.
I can understand your patients running low mine would i your situation but i think your a little an only a little bit to harsh.

But the name rules were in place when everybody had to apply by email which all characters were forced to do so what you said is irelevant dyluck should keep his name and stay as he is but galdriel was being abit to harsh on the applicants an i felt it a tad unfair ot have one rule for new applicants that is not in place for the older players.

Why should Dyluck be punished for rules he didn't have to go by? I'm sure if the rules were in place, he would have picked a different name. But they weren't. Life is tough.

@ paul i dont want him punished i was making a point and when dyluck had to re apply by email the rules were in place which he had to go by to gain his application.

I have seen many players come and go, much with realy bad names.
Galdriel is even longer here than me.
You realy can see a players potential when looking at his Charname.

So there is no need to discuss this Topic James, Galdriel can be as harsh as she wants. I would be even happier when she would be even harsher.

People like "Manie" or "Silent Brodi" are still running arround in this Game, these have to be tracked and punished before annoying someone who has proven his/her great abilties.

I would be highly interested, what is wrong with the name Dyluck??
i googled for it, and found it as a name in many other Stories.

Small Hint for Paul: Google for my name, or Fieps name and you will find no Town of conciderable size or fame, that has that name. Firenze as Town name on the other side should be recognized as such by any medium educated human, and if you try google the first hit you will find is about that very town.

Hmm I really had no idea that you were wasting all of your time deleting names like death Strike and Crash Override it must take alot of time out of your day and the people who have been waiting a long time can't get their accounts because of the ignorance of other people.

Firenze sounds familiar. Did it have some significance during WWII? Anyway, you let the name Viola go. Also, there was another name I saw that was an actual thing, but I forgot what it was.

It was James that said somthing about Dyluck. I dont think he dosnt like Dyluck, its just that, that name is from a computer game so he was asking why you didnt let the others through eg Zidane

I never said anything was wrong with the name Dyluck. And of course, if any "medium educated" human would know of Firenze, then wouldn't they know that a viola is part of the string family, and close to the violin? Or am I mistaken?

As far as I know, no one said otherwise about the Viola, Paul, though it is closer to the Cello than Violin as it is also a "standing" member of the string instruments.
