Because im working a lot, its hard to find me. So, please take the quill here, and write down the quantity of what you want, and which one. This is for the hobbiteers, so its also for a good cause.

Nilo gets some red paint and writes in big letters:

If you would like to have a job, then contact me. I will be hiring some people to lumberjack, and glassblow for me. I will pay you good, if you work good.

The wood will be selling for 3 gold each, and the bottles for 4 each.

Nilo makes spaces for each individual to write in their order. He then hangs the quill by some thread right by the messege on the board.

I request 1000, ( one thousand ) logs of wood.

I will pay the stated rate making the total; 12 ingots.

Bumbol, I think you should read it again. Adamanite is basically saying that Paul will work for free, and give free stuff. That is why this person ran off laughing. If you still don't understand, then I'll try to explain it a bit better. This person is basically trying to get people to believe that Paul wrote the message, not Adamanite. Adamanite wrote the message, but is acting as if Paul wrote it.

This doesn't sound like a bad idea to me. It could even become helpful.

Das soll ein guter Job sein? Ich bekam fürs Holzhacken bisher 4g/Stück; manche zahlen auch noch mehr. Ihr ruiniert den Holzmarkt!
Bedenkt: meine Arbeit in den Wäldern von Illarion ist schon schwer genug, ich möchte sie nicht für einen Hungerlohn tun müssen!

Dies ist Auslegungssache Baldur,

denn obwohl ich in der Vergangenheit gut davon profitiert habe denke ich teilweise in die andere Richtung. Die Bürger sind verwöhnt mit Holz das schnelle Geld zu machen und vergessen dabei einen Schritt weiterzudenken.
Nämlich das die Schnitzer in unseren Landen abnehmen genauso wie die Bäume, aber etwas anderes können unsere Holzfäller ja nicht, die nun schon zu Scharen durch die Wälder rennen und alles kahl holzen.

Irgendso ein armer Teufel hat ihnen nämlich einmal verraten, dass man ein gutes Geschäft damit machen kann die Schnitzer darauf angewiesen sind und sie die Preise ins imense hochtrieben.
So etwas nenne ich eher einen ruinierten Holzmarkt.

Baldur, everyone must know himself at which prices he can sell his goods.
I know enough people who still buy my bottles even though my prices are higher. They do it just because they know that I sell quality and that I buy my resources from independent suppliers for very good prices.

I spoke to him, because he said that the wood market will ruin by selling logs for 3 g each.
I told him ( short answer now ) that in my opinion the market is already ruined.
Had nothing to do with this inquiry.

'Tis an insult to sell at more than 3 gold per log. It makes for a tidy profit. One coin for your time, one to go towards an axe and one for your pocket. I even had some one try to sell me logs for 6 gold each.

ward ihr nicht vor kurzem ein Verfechter der SMACC-Preise?
Wenn jemand für 3g/Stück verkauft, muß er zwangsläufig den SMACC-Preis (der ja als Mindestpreis konzipiert ist) unterschreiten, wenn er selber noch was am Handel verdienen möchte.

Mein Interesse ist es nicht die Holzpreise in die Höhe zu treiben, aber ich achte die Arbeit und mühevolle Auseinandersetzung vieler ehrbarer Bürger, welche diese Preisliste erstellt haben, um Käufern und Verkäufern einen fairen Handel zu ermöglichen.

In der Hoffnung ein fairer Vertragspartner für meinen Holzabnehmer zu sein

Selling at 3g a log wont ruin the market. The market is ruined because most carpenters have now realised that if you pay 4g per log you make very little prophit. To add to that in the time it takes you to craft the wood you would have made twice the propit if you were a lumberjack. Thats just plain daft. The carpenters should earn more than the lumberjackers, they wouldnt buy wood if they didnt, they would sell it!

Ja ich bin ein Verfechter der Smacc Preise nach wie vor, und werde dies wohl auch ewig bleiben wenn diese Preise nicht ins Absurde steigen oder fallen.

Wieso muss ich den SMACC Preis von Holz unterschreiten, wenn ich für 3 Goldmünzen das Stück verkaufe?
Mir scheint ihr kennt die offiziellen Preise nicht.
Diese 4g Grenze ist eine die sich unter den Holzfällern eingebürgert hat, womit ich auch einigermassen einverstanden bin... hört sich zumindestens nach einem fairen Handel an.
Der offizielle Preis liegt jedoch nur bei 2 Münzen das Stück, das heisst widerrum hier wird "legal" gehandelt.

anscheinend habe ich eine andere Preisliste als ihr, denn in meiner ist 3g als Mindestpreis für Holz angegeben. Eine "offizielle" Preisliste gibt es wohl nicht, da wie ich hörte, es nie einen "offiziellen SMACC-Rat" gegeben hat. Auf jeden Fall unterstütze ich folgende Zielrichtung, die Lennier am 30.12.02 folgendermaßen formuliert hat:

Smacc ist/war dazu da einen Mindestwert für Waren festzulegen und eine Basis für irgendwie fairen Handel für alle auszumachen..

Wenn sich meine vermeintlichen Smacc-preise als nicht marktgerecht herausstellen sollten, bin ich gerne bereit auch für weniger Gold Holz zu hacken. Eigentlich möchte ich auch lieber Schreiner werden, nicht aus Gewinnabsicht, sondern weil es mir abwechslungsreicher und kummunikativer erscheint, als einsam durch den Wald von Illarion zu streifen und immer wieder dem gleichen monotonen Klang meiner Axt zuzuhören.
Übrigens: ich bin noch sehr unerfahren im Handeln ,aber mein erstes Verkaufsangebot war 3g/Holz, dadurch kam es zu einer längerfristigen Verbindung zu meinem jetzigen Holzabnehmer, der mir für meine regelmäßigen Lieferungen und meine Zuverlässigkeit von sich aus 4g/Stück anbot plus Äxte frei. Ich finde dies fair für beide Seiten!

Ich weiss nicht, wo ihr diese Liste her habt, aber sie kommt mir bekannt vor.
Nämlich wie diese, welche ich in Zusammenarbeit mit ein paar Freunden schuf, sie ist jedoch nicht anerkannt.
Warum sie aufgestellt wurde hatte einen eher anderen Grund.

Sei es drum. Aber wie ihr selbst seht ist ja der Mindestpreis selbst wenn man nach dieser Liste gehen würde 3 G, und somit ist dies dennoch kein Verstoss hier.
Zumindestens verstehe ich euch dann nicht, denn um eine Summe unter dieser Grenze ging es ja nie, auch hier nicht.

Und für weniger zu Hacken braucht ihr dann natürlich nicht, nur weil der Mindestpreis anders ist. Man bestimmt seinen Preis im Grunde selbst, nur hoffentlich nicht unter dieser Grenze, aber was den Verkauf darüber angeht, wird einem niemand etwas anhaben, man könnte höchstens mit "Nicht-Kauf" seiner Waren bestraft werden.

Und wenn ihr solch ein Abkommen mit euren Kunden habt, dann ist dies doch gut und daran wird sich auch nichts ändern nur weil ein Holzfäller mehr auftaucht.
