Pain...

by Bloodhearte
Bloodhearte is secretly hiding in the lesser known parts of the library, reading piles upon piles of ancient, dusty tomes. He sits on the chair up to a desk, silently thinking. Then, he begins to shed tears of blood, realizing that his human sight has been weakened to a large extent. The old cloth covering his eyes isn't very absorbant...he can't scream, he can't cry. He can only chuckle the driest chuckle...
Drahken is becoming stronger, as the awakening of Moshran draws closer. Some claim that the mirrors have made me insane...or that I have always been insane. They never heeded my words, they never thought I could reach my goals. Unfortuatenly, for them, I have been getting closer. Thanks to the power of the blackstone, Ashkatuul has been opened freely into this realm...as has my lord, Drahken. I refuse to give up my persuit for knowledge. Not even mortal death can stop me...
Unaware that he is speaking to himself only, he gets up slowly, and begins to yell seemingly incoherent words...
SOULS...NEED...MUST...MOSHRAN. LIVE!

Suddenly, bluish-white light flashes and Elaralith appears mysteriously beside Bloodhearte in the library of the Order.
"Greetings human, you are in a forbidden section of the library. Special access must be granted for anyone to be here because of the dangerous contents in the books in this section of the library. Do you have such access?"
Elaralith stares at Bloodhearte and gives him a severe look with one eyebrow raised.

Radurak enters the library to see Elaralith standing near Bloodhearte. After a quick wave toward Elaralith, Radurak leaves the library.

Meanwhile, atop the lofty mountains, Dyluck listens to reports that Bloodhearte seems to have not appeared for a few days and thinks about where he could be.
((You're in the library, but didn't you say you're on a ship?))
Bloodhearte wrote:Despite Bloodhearte and his now wreckless personality, he stalks on board the ship, deciding to make an attempt to convert Kalamon and his ways. One last mission, before Bloodhearte lets his hatred flow through his veins once more...

In a main library a man is sitting on one of the tables, holding a book whose name alone makes most people shudder. It is the book dealing with dark rituals and the summoning of demons through a dark portal. A little bit relieved he notices that a certain point seems not to be named in the texts.
You are a fool, Bloodhearthe, he thinks if you believe that you can open a portal to Moshran using the knowledge given in this books alone. You might be able to summon armies of demons, which is worse enough, but you will never succeed in your plans with this knowledge alone. As long as the key is safe under the protection of Tanora nobody will open this portal.
No servant of darkness will recover this mirror from the place where it was hidden.
However, Darlok has often shown his ability to make people behave the way he wanted them to by telling them some of the boldest lies I ever heard.
We have to ensure that this doesn't happen again, or we will all be in really big trouble soon. I always knew that the gods sent me here on purpose, but I would have never expectet that the purpose was to fight the Bone Lord himself...
He closes the book and puts it back to its place on the shelf before he walks out of the door, willing not to let anyone come close to the place where Drakhens mirror is hidden.

Dyluck, it's the sheer magic of teleportation. Let's just say I became a bit bored when it came to hiding on the ship...however, I can only use my flaming portals for a limited time.
Doesn't bother to look up at Elaralith, but replies in a sinister, dry voice.
Elaralith, I'm the most hated man in the city of Trollsbane, and you actually bother to ask if I have permission? A little more research before I meet Kalamon wouldn't hurt, after all.
Bloodhearte takes the books regarding dark doorways and theories of Moshran before he disappears in a cloud of flame, hiding in the old blankets on the ship deck once again inside a crate. Unfortunately, it's quite difficult to read in this darkness...

Damien comes into the place, descending from above.
"Bah ! Someone open the door... it smells like sulfur. We'll have to somehow block the library from infernal creatures, or worshippers, or whatever else, if they always leave such a smell..."

Radurak quickly runs up to Fooser.
"Calm down, calm down. You can burn them if they ever give up their mirrors." Radurak says.

Elaralith coughs just able to use her staff to support herself because of the stinking smoke Bloodhearte has left behind...after the smoke clears she realizes that Bloodhearte has stolen some of the forbidden books!
"Outrageous! Entering a forbidden section, smoking up the library, and stealing some of the books!"
Elaralith turns to Damien.
"Yes, something must be done about this. I suggest all books about dark portals and such things be withdrawn. Such knowledge in the hands of some make them have too much potential for causing trouble!"

Randelf becomes confused when entering the library.
"Err..it looks a little crowded in here."
Randelf walks away quietly carrying a hammer and shovel.

Usually, these books contain not much knowledge to help those culstists, but teach us how to defend against these by showing different weaknesses.

Some books I have seen in the library...give false hopes to ones such as these cultists by giving information as to how to "open dark portals" and such...

In fact, these books define, partially, how these portal spells can be made better, or ruined. They will be of totally no use for those who do not know how to do such things.

"False hopes?" Then I suppose the fact that Ashkatuul entered our world was just a lie, huh? I already made progression, don't make me think otherwise.

The progress you made, will only lead yourself to suffering and pain, making yourself make others suffer. You will end up in being nothing but another mind- and willingless marionet in the service of one of many "followers" of the bone lord who has just a little more knowledge than you have.
Those causing harm on others because of their own pain, can still find the truth some day, but will suffer from the insight.
Do you feel regret for anything you have done ? Can you be true to yourself ? Can you find your inner balance, or do you feel imprisoned within your own web of lies, that keeps you being unsatisfied, no matter what goal you reach ? Do you already feel the madness within yourself, a darkness that possesses your own mind from within, wrapping your thoughts into shadows ? Will you be able you face the real, blank truth, when you are forced to face it one day, or will you loose your weakened mind facing it ?
Future will tell us that. We will watch, and we will see... but whatever the future brings, may the everpassing fog of time bring you the wisdom and insight you are searching for so desperately.

Of course, Darkness and light are simple definitions, as good and evil are. But you are getting upset.
Relax, take yourself some time, and start to think about yourself. Only those knowing their inner self, their weaknesses and their strengths, their wishes and their needs, only those who manage to be really true to themselves - only those will be able to grow.
And only those will manage to survive, in the long way.
