I have a slight problem. I emailed the Illarion staff my account name and my password, but they replied saying that it was not enough to gain a file. What do I have to do in order to Role-play in Illarion?

Well, why don't you simply go to
www.illarion.org and read the announcements? I"m sure something there will tell you what you need to do.
After you read all the name rules, and other rules, of course.

I think what he said was, that his apply for an account was rejected.

I thought so too at first, but he didn't say anything about the rest of the applciation process, so I think his original application was rejected for some reason.
Which made me think that he probably either didn't send the information required, or that he e-mailed it to the wrong e-mail address.
