A couple quick questions

I just have a couple of questions.

1. Does the description you give for your character matter when it comes to being accepted (Ferin's description was very short and boring)

2. Could anyone please point me in the direction of a good Role play guide. It has been ages since I last roleplayed and I think I've forgotten most of it. I'm most conserned with role play vocabulary (how the characters speak).

I would be grateful if someone could help me.

@#1:::i do not think your description maters when applying for an account
@#2:::if you KNEW how to RP as i belive you said, you jsut need to see some RP and it will come back to you. if you jsut plain dotn know how, jsut be carefull to use proper grammer and eticate. aslo trye to be you charector in a sense. for the vocabulary, jsut listen to other people talk.

hope i helped :D

The only way I know how to learn good roleplay is to watch others.

Don't use modern words such as pizza, golly, airplane, computer, internet, or fartface. :D

ok what I mean is I roleplayed once about a year ago. :oops: There I said it. I'm just a bit embarrassed by the fact that I have had so little experiance in roleplaying. I really want to learn though and Illarion is what I have always wanted, an online game where people actually roleplay. /me hides face with hands to keep everyone from seeing how red face is.

Well it looks like you got the emotion thing down.

Just put yourself in your character's place and simply talk like they would. I find it easier if I make up a background history for my character first, then it's easier to put myself in his shoes......(ahem)I mean his leather boots.

I just read in another thread about RP only sections in the game Furcadia. I have played Furcadia before, but only breifly. Maybe I will give it another chance so I can get ready for RPing in Illarion (don't worry if I am accepted, I will be back)

@Crocket
perhaps I should write a better background history for my own referance.

roleplaying is simple, act like your character and what he does and is.
