i made a few cool goblin faces that i think are pretty darn good for my first character models. they are on the yahoo group crocket made.

nice work, but for sure unusable for illarion.

maybe you better learn the basic features of your graphics program first before you try yourself on faces and things like that?

well using editable mesh is pretty easy, i threw that together in about 15 min. i was just kinda seeing what people thought of them i know i couldnt use the lighting effect if you wanted to use it for illarion.

if you just do that for later use in illarion, better don't do it.
if we ever decide to use home-made meshes in the game, we wouldn't spend much effort in creating faces as they were too small in the game anyway.

personally i'd do that by rough modelling using low-poly-techniques and adding a bumpmap and good textures afterwards. trying to get details into a mesh which is never rendered in close ups is rather pointles.

I think having the website was a whole lot better.
