Cult of the Blackstone...

After finding that so many guilds are dedicated to enforcing the laws and keeping people safe, I have decided to add a bit of a twist to our world...

After researching in the library, I now wish to establish the 'Cult of the Blackstone.' Why? Because blackstone is the most mysterious gem, and is may symbolize evil. Other reasons have to do with RP. Basically, this 'cult' of mine will be dedicated to wreaking havoc, worshipping Moshran, delving into the powers of the blackstone, and summoning through dark rituals (which I have learned of in the library).

In case you haven't noticed already, this character of mine is the evil sorcerer that has been practicing rituals in the library and blocking the entrances with flames. I simply couldn't have my studying interrupted. This Cult will also be dedicated to studying the dark path.

Sounds fun, no? What do you all think?

I think if you are caught blocking doorways retribution will be swift and painfull.

Oh Bumbol, that was you? I wasn't trying to talk tough, I was just trying to study in my oh so evil ways. I had to disappear, because I stupidly was picking a fight with you two without any armor, weapons or my trusty wand. Besides, I probably would've lost anyway, even if I had those items.

But I'm STILL one evil mother! :D

Elaralith is in one of rare angry states, and she replies:

Insolent child!
How dare you set fire to the library of the Order of the Grey Light, and prevent others from obtaining Knowledge that has been ordained by Elara for all! No right have you to so atrociously prevent those who seek Knowledge and Wisdom from obtaining it! You would do wisely to stop your evil immediately and pray to the gods for forgiveness and especially Elara who you have offended! Knowledge that can be gotten in the library is for all, and is not just for you alone! Know now that the library is a public place but owned by the Order of which I am a part. Ere you continue these evil acts, the anger of many shall be swift and without compassion!
~Elaralith, Priestess of Elara, Adjutor of the Order of the Grey Light~

Do what you wish, but be prepared to face the consequences of your ignorant actions...

Chaos! Disorder! Beautiful! I consider it alternative, rather than ignorant. That fire was merely a minor barrier, a parlor trick. Once the other followers of Moshran join me, it will be utter chaos. That is, unless the balance is good and evil remains overly biased.

May the Gods attempt to destroy me. I'm in the constant protection of Moshran, since I have long since broken the barriers. It will take more than mere death or words to stop the power of our evil.

If you ever paid close attention to the texts of the library, you probably ignored a book involving rituals and the like. One of them clearly states that opening the dark doorways isn't an easy matter, and many lifeforms must be away in order to do so...I was merely interrupted by Bumbol. But what better place to perform the ritual but in the place where I first learned of it?

i will always stop you! and your followers! you won't ever escape my wraith if you ruin the peace of Trollsbane!

Oh silly Bumbol. I have formed a pact with the demons. Do you truly think I'm the only one behind the disorder?

I managed to make a clean getaway from you...do you remember that I have members already?

By the way, it was hard to getaway after you refused to let me heal myself...sheesh, this evil man business is tougher than it looks.

Yes, but both me and Seth stopped you from burning up Silberbrand. and i knocked you unconcious. You best just hope that I don't see you again, because all those who become Patrol Officers like me and Seth will kill you on sight.

But Bumbol, I'm not the only one behind these burnings. I already have an orc or two in my service.

The only reason I was knocked unconcious is because my connection broke when I was sliding from the library (notice how I stopped completely for almost a whole minute) so don't doubt my ability to escape better...

And as for death on sight...meh, I dealt with it before. Good luck to the both of you.

by Aragon
Reading the message of the person, called Bloodhearte, Aragon wonders, why the so called evil people always make great words on the shop walls about their goals.
Opening a gateway to Moshran's realm, that would need more powers and more strengh.
But one never know, if this so called evil will have some success. Better be prepared.
Aragon took some buckets of water and walked in the ceremonial cave, kneelt down before the altar and prayed to his god Malachin, blessing the water. After that, he filled the water in some bottles and took a few of them in his bag.
Now he may come ....

((Puh-lease, crazy guy, be original in your Role Play...you wish to open up a dimensional portal in the library...sound like the Hellmouth from Buffy to anybody??))

well, the initial post was ooc, so i guess he just wanted to enable people to react in proper way. since purly random firethrowers were not all that unusual in the past..

hes trying to get more followers. He only has two and their orcs so they may fight well, but have no good magic ability, right? orcs intell cant get very high right?

Is this in or out of character question, Bumbol?
Erp, if that was OOC about 'Can orc character get intelligence high when its created' I think that the question does not quite belong on this topic..or board.

Phew, quit a few things to respond to here...

First, this is a guild board. If I were to truly act evil, I would be in the RPG board.

@Bumbol, yes, they can do good magic. And I've recruited another elf.
@Galdriel. We would do more than firethrowing, but I'm trying to reach the biggest extent of 'evil' without breaking the server rules.
@Aragon. I'm just taunting people, but we'll keep a lower profile eventually. And it doesn't really take more power...the books in the library take time and patience to read, but they mention that opening the Dark Doorway doesn't take a supergod. And if you dare bring that blessed water into my place, I'll...er...run away, or try to fight if I'm strong enough, which I probably am not...ORCS! Get over here!
@Randelf. No.

I believe the original purpose, as Galadria said, was to point out that he isn't just senselessly setting fires like the past. Also, if you see ornate patterns (Or as ornate as you can get with flames...) odds are it is some sort of ritual, not just random casting.

Well, i do know one thing. Your dark cult of magic willl be stopped! whether it be by words, or force, you will end up kaputt :P

Heh, heh, heh. Good luck. You can't stop this cult...

How do you know that, Randelf the Racist, lest you be part of it?

Posted: Wed Mar 19, 2003 2:01 am
by Bloodhearte
Actually, Randelf isn't part of the group...he is my brother on the same computer, and is also thinking about opening his own cult. It would be rather awkward to have a cult where the members never meet their leader...

 Im in jail now.....i think....but, never the less...WE are okay. Moshran is returning shortly. He shoudl be back very soon i believe. The stars are adjusting just perfectly to open the gate of doom.

hhhmm........We need a meeting. We, of course, would be perfectly safe, considering all we have to do is block off wherever with enough flames to kill anyone instanly. Which...isnt that hard to do, ive done it a few times in the library. And, even more, those consistant fools keep chasing me, and walk through the flames. They end up dead sometimes....although i dont kill intentionally.

Faithful servant of moshran~~Grimey

We must to destroy the fools, Grimey. My other troops have been missing for quite a while, and that's never good for our part...

It would take quite a bit of training to become strong physically. This is, however, not necessary if you want to be a member.

I never said for sure about opening a cult. I told you what I would think about it. I never said for sure I was going to start a cult.
