Titles

As mentioned in the rules, titles are not names, so why are we treating them like names? I really think have a title appear beside your name is just as bad as having a 'bad' name. I propose instead titles only appear when F12 is pressed. Seeing "***** member of the silver star merchants"
is a bit annoying everytime someone speaks.

I believe something recently was said about having the F12 for descriptions but Serpardum said there is only 1 name file for F12 and speaking...

Some titles can really be annoying, but i like them though because it says something about the charakter.

When you speak your name out loud, you can say your title. It doesn't need to be repeated every time, people already know. If they forget, well, it's realistic, isn't it?

Whenever someone talks the server automatically puts their title and name up. This can get kinda annoying.

people who have long titles are just plain irratating. eg,
'Sire Drathe the master carpenter of the guild sais: hello.'
'willy wonka sais: how are you.'
'Sire Drathe the master carpenter of the guild sais: ooh I am fine tho i have realy bad eye strain.'
I mean your trying to read what people are saying and if you are in a busy place you eye just cant flow easily over the text.
Before the titles was implimented most peoples names are only so long, so your eye could flow down the names and the spoken text would uslay start in the same area for all the names, give or take a few letter aharacter. ( you understand me? ) e.g
'Drathe sais hello.'
'Willy wonka sais: hello hopw are you.'
'Drathe sais: yes im good my eyes dont hurt as much they flow easy over the text.'

Actually, I was suggesting that it be reverted back to how it was before. The title would not display in the words above your head or in the message area. The only way to know someone's title is to ask them. So if you introduce yourself
Astral says: I'm Astral the Craftsman
Astral says: xyz
Then you know the person is a craftsman. You don't need to be reminded every time.

Exactly my opinion, Astral.

The simplest way: If you dont' like long titles, don't use them. The majority of people dont' seem to have titles anyway, so the people who are using them like them.
I really dont' see the issue.

@Thereadore: If I am annoyed by seeing "Thereadore the grand duke of Saronia" every time you say something after you introduced, can I do anything about it? No. See the point?

Sure you can do something about it. Tell me to shut up. Don't talk to me. Ask me to change my title. Etc...
