Hello fellow players of Illarion.  I took a "vacation" and since I have come back I have noticed some things

1) PLEASE do NOT get off topic on other posts...  I find it annoying when two people are having an argument on a board that has little to do with the topic... example... on the School of Combat topic, guild council etc.)  Most players are probably guilty at this (even ME) but I have tried to improve my usage... Some examples of people doing this are Sean, Lord Chaos and Dipstick (when he used the boards).  THESE ARE JUST EXAMPLES!!!! There are many people who do this but I think these are 3 of the most often people.  If you are going to have a squabble open a new topic or use the messenger...

2) WE are lucky we have nice administrators for this game who have A LOT of patience.  Bror especially gets a lot of requests (Bror check this... Bror check that... Bror stop this etc.)  The people who make this game happen already have a lot of commitments other then this game and maybe we can lessen their workload... If I were them I would consider shutting down the boards.  If you have acqusitions against you are not true just turn the other cheek.  What is the worse that can happen from just saying you didn't do it and not speaking of the "lie" again.


Thank you and please think of these suggestions.... If you have anything to add just post them.

\Instead of making a new post i am just editing the old one.  Most players don't understand what roleplay is. (I did not when  I first starting to play this game) and they ignore the requests of people who know what roleplay is.  Hopefully they learn soon before this turns into a powergameing, hack and slash, out of charector game.

No sean we just argue, put not off the topic like you.
You make stupid pointless posts like the last one and start a chain of stupid replies from people who are annoyed by you and want to let you know it in hopes that you might get it and stop.

Your right Roke... a lot of people are posting off topic, I've done it before too I think, I will try and make sure my posts relate directly to the topic now... The board is getting covered by little squabbles between individual people who seem to have problems with each other... Maybe there should be another board where people who want to just basically be mad at each other can go?

Hmm, it's true a lot of poeple don't RolePlay, but you can still poke fun at them while roleplaying yourself and kind of have fun with it I think, a few days ago someone was talking aloud (no indication of OOC or anything... I think they didn't know about roleplay) about the "internet" and "online" listening to what he said, me and a few others came up with the conclusion that when he was talking about "online game" he was really talking about some kind of fishing line game, and that this "internet" is some kind of advanced fishing net used to catch smaller fish (heh, it REALLY irritated the person, and they were saying things like "Yes, the internet... you DO know this game is online don't you?)... anyways, the point being, sometimes people don't don't really know any better, but you can usually play it off as them Being outlanders, or crazy if you want to (or you can go in and wisper to them, indicating OOC, and ask them to roleplay and possibly explain it)
