I noticed a lot of my stuff has purple outlines surrounding them, is this common?

My helmet, warhammer, and pack just as an example.

I get the same with things in my depot, they are all outlined with pink, tho I think it has something to do with Nvida Gforce graphics card as a mate has the same problem.

that's right.it has to do with wrong specifications of certain graphicadapters when shrinking the graphics.

yeah, mine is a Geforce also (Geforce4).
Come to think of it, I didn't notice the outlines until I installed the card.

Yes I have noticed that in my friend's pc. Hehe doesn't happen in mine :D
ITs nothing bad to my knowledge. But do you all have:

-Windows XP?
-A good video card (say about 8megs+) ?

It could be overdoing the graphics, and also like martin said happens when you shrink it.
This might be the only reason, hope I helped in some way. :D

It is only certain brands, not the amount of memory. I have a 4mb video card, and it runs fine. I also have XP Pro. No problems.

I have had it since I played, it dissapeared for quite a while before the new server. After that the outlines came back. I have xp and an nvida ... erm ... pook. I only noticed it because I saw my bro play it without the purple lines. He has xp and a super duper wooper graphics card. Dont know specifically which one.

1) This is a topic for the tech-questions-board.
2) I explained this several thousand times. It depends on the chip on your graphics card and your driver. Nothing more.

I'll close this topic, you can discuss it on another board if you want to.
