i know that leather bags allow you to carry a more diverse inventory but, shouldnt it also give you the ability to carry more weight instead of accually weighing something itself, could you set the weight to negative xx

personally i find i can carry more weight with a bag on my back than in my arms.

Your post was a little hard to follow.

A bag wouldn't necessarily let you carry more weight, just more items.

It doesn't change the weight, but the shape, so to say.

A 50 pound bar bell is easy to pick up.

A 50 pound pointy rock is hard.

Same wieght, just different shapes. Put them both in a bag and equeally as easy to carry. The bag does nothing to reduce their 50 pound weight.

Did this respond to your suggestion?

If you put something in a bag andcarry the bag around, you still do carry the item you know... How could that possibly make you able to carry more?

hmmm, well supporting that much weight is easier if you put the strain on you back rather than your arms, whats easier, carrying 10lbs of books around in your arms or carry 10lbs of books in a bag? i personally would choose that bag. what im trying to say is most people would be able to carry more with a bag than without one.

This is one of the few proposals of Gro'bul's that I agree with. A bag is a tool and being a bag it balances out the weight that one carries. Think about it. It is easier to carry a say 50 pound rock in a bag than with your bare hands because the straps of the bag spread the weight of the rock around your shoulders/hands/arm. I think that being able to carry more in a bag than you would be able to without one is a good idea. This would be a thing that would also increase the demand for tailored items, which needs to be done.
On the topic of leather bags...another thing I would like to mention. It seems now that a right click on any box space on a player's interface automatically produces the screen that in old times right clicking on a bag did. This new technical item makes bags obsolete. They are no longer needed. Leather bags used to be needed in a way because they allowed a player to have a wider range of items carried with him, but now with the "free automatic bag" that right clicking any empty box space produces the use of bags is gone! Something should be done about this in my opinion. Changing it back to the way it was in the past concerning bags would be the best thing to do.

Your weight limit is based on how much weight you can carry, not it's bulk.

Bulk is a different limitation.

What Elaralith said about the "free automatic bag" is not true, you only get the bag screen when you have a bag, if you don't have a bag and you right click nothing happens.

@Darren I stand corrected. Let me change what I said a bit based on this new information. If you have a bag you can right click any box space empty or not and it will be useable like a bag. That doesn't make much sense how about taking it away?

That is not a feature implemented on purpose. Bror doesn't know where it comes from. He just doesn't care if it's there or not. It may vanish in future clients or stay.

not every item can be used as a bag... it's just if you rightclick on any inventory slot your bag will open... if you have one that is...

@Shi'voc I realize that and I am saying that if it could be taken away that would be great. If there are other things of more priority that is understandable, but I just wanted to bring to attention that "bug" if indeed it is one.
