I was browsing through the screenshots section of the website and saw all the old screenshots there so I thought how about starting a screenshot contest to get some new ones put up? Maybe we could send our screenshots to gods@illarion.de and the winner could recieve some silver or an item?

The theme of the screenshots could also be roleplaying so that pictures of things like a screen filled up with fields won't win the contest.

especialy the story thing.
in a former world of mine there existed a series  named "lost heroes"-tales.

the first one started with the newborn hero and he was shown by some renowned people
what nice creatures dogs were, and thus he patted them.
later on he went forth and met some doglike beasts (naive as he was)
he started patting them too  but they were not as friendly  <g>

I think a screen shot contest is a great idea

Just in case anybody doesn't know, to make a screen shot, just hit the "Print Screen" button and then before you copy anything else, you go into paint(i don't know if other programs work) and push "CTRL + v" or in the meny click paste. (this is what i do for my comp, i assume it's the same for everybody else)

So how about it Bror, could we do this contest?

I good shot of the tavern filled with people would be a nice one!

I have one when Drakhen atacked, lots of red skeltons and demon in the town mines. My personel favorite hahah.

Heh, picture-takin' time...

No, but if you didn't agree, it would be pretty stupid if I told everyone there's a contest and there would be a prize but turns out nothing happens.

If they do the screenshots only for the price, it would be stupid indeed.

I know this topic is ancient old, but how about another screenshot contest, I plan on setting up some webspace, the pictures could then be e-mailed to me and I could put them up on the site.

so will there be a contest???? or atleast people can submit screen shots, it would be really nice to see dozens of new screenshots
