It's far from perfect and completely accurate, but if you just want to get the quick jist of what something is about, I seem to find it quite useful.

of course the german players can learn english from the english speaking players, but the english speaking players can learn german from the german speaking players too ;).

many german players on this page and in illarion are able to speak english, so if a english speaking or german speaking player wants to know what a posting or a sentence in illarion means, he have only to ask if someone can translate it for him. perhaps it is the problem that some user believe that their english isn't good enough to translate. but i say them, be brave (waah *g*), trie it. my english is very bad for example but i translate everytime someone ask me. every translation of you is much better than the s*** which such programms for translation produce. also the german speaking players should try to write down important postings in german and english. i mean important postings which have to do with the game. ideas and suggestions about illarion and the gameplay are not only important for the german or englisch speaking players, they are important for everyone (and serpardum don't like it if he cannot read a important suggestion for illarion *g*).

*g*yes, I know it is far from perfect, but like Dyluck said, it gives ya a basic jist of whats going on. Hopefully it will help out a little, it has helped me look at the most of the German posts and make sense of them even though with some it struggles a lot

There´s a nice program on www.babylon.com wich is able to translate single words or phrases from one language to the other. There are even dictionaries for elven or drow language what is quite usefull.

While playing the game I have picked up a few German words, but not a lot. I am very greatful whenever a German person posts their post in English and German because then I can understand it.

If you think your English isn't good, remember. I find it easier to understand what you are saying then what a free translator says...
