This game looks very intresting and I would love to play it but my computer is running on XP and the program does not support XP. If it did I would play.

Umm try:
-Turning any virus scans off(especially Mcaffe)
-Turning off your firewalls
-Setting the Window mode to Win98, there should be an option for it somewhere
And you posted in the wrong section, clearly there is a technical help board.

to set the mode to windows 95/98/me or 2K just right click on the illarion icon and click on "separated memory block" (or whatever it is called in english) and also "Compatible(something) Mode" -> there you can change the mode... in german "Kompatibilitätsmodus"

Right click on Illarion.exe, select "Properties", go to the "Compatibility" tab, check the "Run this program in compatability mode for:" and select "Windows 98/Windows ME". But it has always worked for me without it. Do you use XP Home or Professional?

((OOC)) I use XP Pro at home and have not encountered any compatibility issues. "XP compatible" is just Microsofts way of making softwared developers pay to have some flag in XP that says it will run without conflict. It does not mean that a program won't run anyways.

Is there anyone who finds that they need to run it in compatability mode?
BTW: I use Pro too, and no problems thus far.
