I went into the shop last night and tried to buy a magic book ( I had 400 gold ) and it said You dont have 50000 Gold ! ( i had tried to buy hept )
so I tried to buy kel and jus and it kept saying You Dont Have 50000 Gold ! If they have changed to this amount thats ludicrous ! It would take absolute ages to save that much ! Please tell me whats going on !
And just to add can anyone tell me what are the runes called for the paralise spell please

You probably have the counter set at 250.

You probably had the dial thingy set to a high number so you tried to buy that many books.

First you posted this in the wrong board category. This belongs in the "Technical board" or "Newbie board". In my opinion, you should have not started this thread at all in the boards. An email would have been much better.
Concerning your problem, check the numbers in the middle of your gaming interface. You probably accidentally left the "quantity determiner" at a high number, hence the crazy price for the magic books.
