When you create a character you can click the "Advice" to see what the stats do. If the stat is not listed there then one or two things is possible:
1. The stat doesn't do anything yet
2. The stat does something, but we're not saying.
Since there is no information for essence, willpower and perception you can figure that each of htese three falls into one of those 2 catagories. It is up to you to determine what they do.
As far as intelligence, it is described as:
Intelligence determines your mana loss when casting spells.
Well, all mages know that it does a little more than that. As for if it determines your skill gain, again, that's for you to decide.
@Elaralith, it is not up to you to decide what is an appropriate or inappropriate post for a forum.
The forums are starting to get a little out of hand with flame wars.
I would ask that if you don't have a response to the actual question posted, or an appropraite reply that you don't post a flame. Saying someone's post is "stupid" is never appropriate.

@Separdum Sometimes, the answer to some questions is no answer. And I do not think that making use of the word 'stupid' is being rude. The word 'stupid' is a literal word, and if you make a study of the english language you will realize that such words are only seen as "taboo" because of a complicated political struggle. What would you have me do? Use fancy words that break away from the intended meaning? Such writing only hides and stops one from expressing him/her self fully. I, in all sincerity, do not think that I "flamed".

I agree, but you did answer his post by calling it stupid. If you dont' have anything nice to say...
Your post started a flame war, there were 3 other posts I deleted in addition to yours, which I had made note of in yoru message that you later edited.
Wehn someone posts, and your reply is that it's a stupid post, it should never of been posted, tht they couldn't ask that, and for someone to lock the thread, yes, I consider that a flame. As did the 3 people who responded.
There are forum moderators who will determine if a post should be posted or not.
Thank you.
Now, since this thread is off topic, yet anohter one being locked.
