A new tailored item, the dress cannot be sold to Eliza the NPC merchant. Is this meant to be or is it a error? If it was meant to be could a reason please be given about why dresses cannot be sold because I really cannot see any RP reason why.
Thank you!

Maybe Eliza just doesnt like the colour or trim... I made a few and gave them as gifts to I think three of my friends. If it is a bug then the bug is also in the dwarven axe that cant be sold, nor can the war hammer thingy.

Not all items can be sold to eliza, perhaps this is just another one.

Yes, but Elaralith's question was is it a bug?

That war hammers can't be sold already exists for too long to be a bug, so it's surely made on purpose. Dresses and dwarven axes, well I think they too. I don't think they just forgot to add them.

I see no reason why Eliza shouldn't buy dresses. This would be a good way for a Taylor to make money. Maybe it can be fixed.

So it's not a bug? I know its OK to not be able to sell all the items to NPCs but there should be a good reason. I really see no reason why dresses should not be sellable to Eliza when robes are.

Hmm I see...not a bug then. Tell me is there any particular reason why dresses cannot be sold to Eliza? I really see no reason why this is so...this just makes tailoring even more unattractive to players.

The error/bug whatever it was has been fixed. Dresses can now be sold...for 4 g. Such a lovely item (and hard to tailor) I would expect to be priced higher...in the medieval ages only very rich and usually noble ladies could afford such items. It amazes me that dresses in illarion are priced so low ...at 4 g.
P.S. Separdum, are these the hinted at "improvements" for the tailoring profession? If so I must say that it is a dreary one indeed, and not much good either.
-some tailored items have been reduced in technical price
-only one new item so far has been implemented-the dress
-and clothing still has not much "use" to increase desire for them
-the graphics for the loom and spinning wheel have been changed true...for the worse? Debatable.

Elaralith: No, dresses have nothing to do with what I was talking about that would effect the tailoring profession.

I think items sold to Eliza are fairly priced, as she ( as far as roleplaying be ) is likely to be a trader, therefore she would buy items very cheaply in order to make prophit from selling them on. I always prefer to sell items to other players, only items I dont want or need I sell to Eliza.

I agree that Eliza should buy items from players at a low price. But what I am in opposition to is what I see now as an inbalance in the price ranges for items in different crafts. For example, a lute made through carpentry is sold to Eliza for 18 g. A dress sold to Eliza-4g. As well, many of the items made in the other crafts are highly prized by players because of certain things they bestow on the character (ex. plate armor: very good protection against physical attacks). On the other hand, items made through tailoring are not so desired because currently they bestow not so much...that is what I have been opping for...a implementation that would change all this. Suggestion for future thing to be implemented that would increase desire for dress: luxury item?

From what i remember reading somewhere they talk about having a luxury system or something of the like. *goes off the try to find it*
