A long time ago Bror said you should not play on other people's PCs. They can check the IP. If you and your friend log into the game at the same time and another time, when you play on your friend's PC, you log in after him, the GMs are confused. So dont play on other persons PCs, who play Illarion, too!
I hope you can understand what i mean.

I have sometimes played on a different computer as well, and if the illarion game is on the computer you can play as your char BUT you will not have the map shown or have people's name because that information is stored on your pc not the server.

What about changing your PC or IP. You dont have the same IP all the time.

Hallo
i think bror meant not to play on other pcs because they could be able to see your login and can perhaps steal your password and so on.
it is for your own security to choose wisely the places where you play illarion and/or read your email.
in generally i can say you can play at your pc or at mothers pc and so on.
just remember when someone misuses your char it could be maybe your own fault then.
Bye
Read ya
