Fledgling mage seeking apprenticeship

To any learned practitioner of the arcane,
I, Cassian Valcourt, seek an apprenticeship
under a skilled practitioner willing to accept
a dedicated student.
I am well educated in reading and writing,
with a strong talent for research and flexible
problem solving skills. I learn quickly, work
diligently and have a keen interest in
the arcane arts.
Though my practical experience is limited,
I am eager to learn and willing to undertake
whatever tasks are required of an apprentice.
I must also be forthright in saying that I lack
the means to pay for formal tutelage. I therefore
seek a master willing to accept my service and
dedication to work in place of my tuition.
I ask only for the opportunity to prove my
worth.
