Disappearance (Open RP)

Tomas appears in a cave, dimly lit by a nearby torch on the ground.
“Hello?”
Using his staff, he slowly pulls himself up to standing. Luckily, Margret and Ela’Xandir’s work on his stomach was of the finest aid. Otherwise, the new stitches would’ve been pulled out. Instead, Tomas winced in pain without further blood loss.
“Who are you?”
Since he was a child growing up in the settlements along Syrita Bay, this had happened. One moment he was in one place, then a pop, sizzle, and somewhere new. No One knew the origin of this strange behavior. Until now, he had never been moved more than a league from where he had originally been.
His mother said it was the forest’s way of keeping him safe. Indeed, many a scrap was avoided by this unintentional boon as he grew older.
Now, in his twentieth year, the mysterious teleportation had stopped. Months had passed, and he had travelled normally and had begun to learn the craft of magic.
“Why does this keep happening?”
