Q: Why do you sell things at Market Value? ((Value of item displayed when Mouse hovers over it))

A: Most things here at the Shoppe, we sell at market value because it pays for our time creating perfect items, the convenience of buying in bulk and the reliability of the shoppe being open daily at a regular time. Simply put, if you're looking for giveaways, there are plenty of friends that will cater to you if you can find them, but only Bernie's Shoppe can be counted on to have and/or produce what you need, when you need it with few exceptions. We pay rent and have regular hours precisely so you can count on us being there! We feel it's fair to ask for compensation for that, just like the professional traders of Gynk. Also when I'm out and about, I almost always drop what I'm doing to cater to customers, whether it's repairs or a simple trade, neglecting chirping time with friends much to their disappointment. Our time is important, but we pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and strive to have everything we possibly can in bulk! We have been doing this for years and it's simply good, reliable, professional and trusted commerce. Personally, I consider myself a professional merchant and act accordingly. My employees and suppliers likewise keep their focus on work and the needs of the shop. Items that do not have a market value (Potions, Glyphs etc.) are priced according to perceived value and may change, but we list it on the main boards.


Q: What's the difference between Bernie's Shoppe and the Chamber of Commerce? Aren't they the same?

A: Not really. Even though there is often some overlap when it comes to funding and events, the Chamber of Commerce is meant to be a Crafting Guild linking businesses and crafters together in a shared network of supply and trade. Bernie's Shop is simply my personal business, which has employees and suppliers and does fund much of the Chamber's efforts for now. As other true businesses spring up as part of the chamber, this distinction will become more apparent between my shop and the umbrella crafting guild that supports all businesses in a true economy. My Shop is located on the ground floor of the Guildhall and the Chamber has an office on the second floor.


Q: As a Chamber member, do I have to sell my stuff for 50% to other members, even expensive stuff??

A: When you join the Chamber, we ask that you extend the same courtesy of a member discount to other members (or the Black Wyverns per contract) but it's not required. When you're starting out and you are gaining skill in a craft, it is understandable if you want to get some of your hard earned coin back, especially if you paid for potions, food or pure elements! Those ingredients to create perfect wares can get expensive! It's ok to charge full price or more, and we encourage you to do what you need to survive. However, once you've mastered your craft, please help those also struggling to survive by offering the member discount. Bernie's Shoppe will always offer the member discount as the safety net for struggling members, no worries. One good turn sparks another. We are all here to help each other.

Yes!! After months of experimentation, testing, and more than 500 Golds invested in materials, we are now finally able to offer Tailoring repair services! We can darn them!

We have several sets of Clothes and Leather Armors in stock including the highly valued "Assassin's Armor of Darkness", "Fur Trousers of the Dawn", "Leather Boots of the Winds" and the "Archmage Robe". To ensure quality, all repairs must be done in Runewick. Please allow 1 day for repairs to travel between the Shoppe and Runewick and back again, with Quality and Gems intact, Guaranteed!

As always with any Armor, the Cost ranges from 50 silvers to 5 Golds, depending on the damage amount to be repaired on each piece.

An Anonymous source has recently reported that "Sam" at the Hemp Necktie Inn does repairs cheaper, but his unskilled hands actually degrade the quality of your pieces!! See him if you must save coin, but for quality.....

We're able to announce that after months of practice, hard work, many splinters and the help of friends, Bernie's Shoppe is now able to produce and sell all manner of Wooden Goods and the repair services of all wooden wares too! Please keep posted here as we update our inventory almost daily!

Friends, I'm happy to announce that the new Bernie's Shoppe at the Galmair Harbour is completed! It's fine luxurious carpet and Blue Tables hold a variety of the very finest weapons and Light, Medium, Heavy armors money can buy for your viewing pleasure!

Bulk Supplies

With a sudden interest in building projects around the realms, we will start offering bulk construction supplies for sale. If you need some supplies and don't have the time to make them, see what we have in stock! We ask that you be prepared to transport them by ship to your building site!

Regular Hours!

I have been pretty consistent with keeping the Shoppe open during certain times, and have moved most of my wares there. As promised, the Shoppe will now be open regularly every three days from 1800 to 2100 Hours. ((Daily from 600-700 server time / 11pm-12am CST, USA))

All the lights will be on to indicate the shoppe is open.

These times will ensure I will be at the Galmair Harbor for your business. Any times outside this, please send me a messenger or catch me as I run hither and thither around the realms.

The Triple S Saloon will also be open for socializing during these hours too. Come on by and chat for a while!

Heavy Armor shortage:

Last night, I met a customer who acquired 1 set of every Heavy Armor, Blunt Weapons and Shields we had in stock! Quite the sale, but left us without a lot of the quality armors you'd expect. We still have most blunt weapons and shields available. No worries though! I have sought out a supplier as well as my own efforts and we will be fully restocked before Mas.

We also had a supply ship arrive from Gynk yesterday with many supplies (20k+) we will be processing and putting in the inventory in the coming days. Keep an eye out daily!

Ushos, return to normal hours and more supplies!

Ushos! - The month of Sowing! We had a great zhas and several orders were made and gifts received by our loyal customers and suppliers! This month, we are running a 25% discount on all seeds. If you are starting in farming, or just ran out of seeds, buy them from us!

Hours - After a month to consider the hours, we decided to return to normal hours of 1800-2100 every dwarven night ((6am-7am server time)). It was just not as well recieved and besides, our lamps look better in the evening's twilight! If they are lit, we are open!

Supplies! - Another ship from Gynk has arrived with thousands of supplies which will be processed in the coming weeks. We have already started stocking on apprentice leather armors, fish, dinners, building supplies and arrows and will be adding more daily!

Lobster expedition

I have been waiting a year to do this, but today's Lobster expedition was a success!! We now have Lobsters in stock!! Soon Cooks will be able to create all sorts of tasty recipes with them and we'll be ready!!

It was a dangerous trip and all the excitement and near death experiences have drained me. I'm going to rest tonight, so the Shoppe will not be open tonight at regular hours. I'll reopen tomorrow!

Thanks goes to the Black Wyvern Company for escorting me there, professionally waiting by my side and teleporting us out of there! Even though I couldn't stay as long as I liked, it was well worth the investment! We will arrange to go again next month! I am also a little drained, so I'll arrange a Treasure expedition with them too! Maybe two or three? Good times for the Chamber of Commerce and the Black Wyverns!

Herbs and Shard Glyphs - We have been stockpiling Herbs and Shard Glyphs for some time and can now offer them to any Alchemist or Mage that needs a bulk amount of certain ones. Amounts vary greatly, but just ask for what you need, and I'll tell you how many we have. Need 15 Hierosbyrds, we have those! Need 200 Firnis Blossoms or 100 Pious Berries? We have those too. Just ask. There is too many to list on our boards and they are pretty cheap. Our guildhall is next to a drop site, so we harvest them daily. It's not a lot compared to what some warriors have hoarded, but it's a consistent supply.

Supplies! - Our suppliers have also delivered new Shields, Hammers, Spears and Bows. We have stocked more glass bottles, Brews, Foods, Fish, Meats, Leather goods, Gems and clothing. We also have a surplus of pure elements of everything except fire. Our inventory changes daily, so be sure to check daily!

New Potions and more supplies

Our supplier has arrived and delivered over 100 various crafting potions for our inventory, restocking everything. Included in the delivery was various "New" potions for training.

The New Training Potions are in three Categories: Archer, Warrior and Mage I can only assume they are meant to enhance training in those various skills for those various professions. As always, all potions are guaranteed to work. They also come in various qualities and are priced accordingly.

Over the last couple days, we were able to dig up 7 treasure maps and bring back more than 600 fish and 200 Seagull Eggs from the various trips for our growing supplies. All of these are not regular fares yet, but we are investing in a possible future of delicious recipes as they are discovered! We will be ready! Next month, I plan to collect more Lobster and Octopus as well as continue the Horse Mackerel and crabs.

More supplies came in for leather armor, gems, dust and weapons. Supplies change daily, so keep posted!

Word is spreading about the quality repairs we offer for all things, and that's a good thing. I finish all the repairs in a timely, confidential manner and I think that is being received well by people who don't usually shop with me. It warms my heart when an adventurer seeks me out simply because of their need and they hear about my reputation and I have you, my regular customers to thank for that. Thank you.
