A skittish lizard climbs onto the depot table in the middle of Runewick's marketplace, brandishing a newspaper and hissing into the crowd as loudly as he can:
"Exssstra, exssstra! Jefferssson Gray returnsss! Read it all in the latessst isssue of the Runewick Reporter! 25 copper only! Jefferssson Gray isss back!"
Copies are hastily bought and a menacing skull gazes with its ink-black sockets at many a worried reader.

Once more the Runewick Reporter's paperhatchling scurries around the marketplace, peddling the latest papers fresh from the press.
"Politicsss, crimesss, fessstivalsss! It'sss all in the latessst isssue the Runewick Reporter, the one and only illussstrated newssspaper!"
"Better late than never...," grumbles a reader as he throws a small sack of copper coins into the little lizard's claw and checks the month in the newspaper's header.
"Alssso, if you have a ssstory to ssshare or a busssinesss to advertissse, jussst sssend it to our office," the lizard adds.

A scrawny lizard hatchling emerges from the Runewick Reporter's office, heaving a stack of newspapers to the marketplace.
"Zhe new year'sss firssst isssue! Read all about zhe lassst eventsss of 70 and what awaitsss usss in 71 in zhe Runewick Reporter!"
Coins and papers change hands (or claws) and soon the tiny lizard disappears in bustling crowd.

"Exssstra, exssstra! Lysssander to be trialed! Don't misss your chancssse to watch zhe ssshow! Read it all in zhe Runewick Reporter'sss isssue for Sssirosss!"
The paperhatchling, by now a familiar sight in Runewick, returns to the marketplace to peddle his newspaper, when a disgruntled buyer reproaches him.
"Hey, why's there an ink stain in the middle of my paper!"
"Sssorry, Missster. A sssmall missshap wizh zhe printing presss. But you can read it all jussst fine, sssee? Zhe ink only ssspilled over our dear Councillor'sss portrait, and we all know how ssshe looksss like - we sssee her every day," explains the tiny lizard.
The buyer grumbles as he walks off with his ink-stained newspaper.
