Reporting assault

Post by Malchus »

((A parchment bearing the following report is submitted to the palace.))

To the honourable Don and his representatives

I hereby accuse the dwarven outlaw Teiwaz of assaulting me inside Galmair.

Around noon on the 1st of Malas, I was assaulted without warning and in the presence of at least two witnesses by the dwarven outlaw Teiwaz in Galmair. The guards Boumaug Firesmash and Bre Southstar can testify to this.
As I was able to defend myself and get the upper hand over Teiwaz, he fled across the marketplace before begging me to stop, which I did.

He claimed that I led ogres to the front gates, which is untrue. I was ambushed by a party of trolls at the copperbridge. Being outnumbered I fled and sought refuge within the city, where Teiwaz attacked me. Despite me explaining the situation, he publicly continued to threaten me with murder. In the face of such aggression I challenged him to a duel outside the walls where the city's peace would not be disturbed by the quarrel which he caused. Of course he refused.

Teiwaz then proceeded to run into the census office, where he obtained a citizenship, no doubt to seek protection from the law which he so brazenly violated within Galmair's walls.

Signed,
Malchus

The dwarf Teiwaz is recommended to present himself for discussion of the incident.
