Maybe make dexterity more useful. Since perception affects damage, hit chance, alchemy, potion quality, and map finding...
Why not make dexterity affect the quality of your craftsmanship across the board as that would make sense lore-wise and give the neglected stat a much needed boost.
Otherwise, dexterity just improves the speed of learning crafts and gives a little damage for fighting.
