Black screen... (Ive read the stuff about it)

When i start illarion i get a black screen... i unzipped all the files, in total there are 6 files that were unzipped, i have read the tech help on the download page and its not that... so what then? is the server down?

Does this happen alot now, i have played illarion for a long time now and its never really happened as much as it appears to be now... I am just testing the new client and the servers down... what luck
How long is it usually down for after this patch?

It seems that there is a major problem with the server software hanging (and erasing peoples inventory
) The downtime depends on how long it lasts until someone notices the problem and restarts the software. It was down for 5 hours today morning.
