i think vines should be able to be planted, but they should be very hard, even for master farmers, they grow three grapes at a time, and one or two seeds, depend on the farmers skill. I know they can be walked through and thats why they should be ahrd to make, so only few people can make them, and they wouldnt plant them unwisely

well, vines are usually plants that grow for a long time, just as trees do.

well im sure that grain doesnt grow in ten minutes, or apples grow abck in 30 seconds, or cabbages grown in ten minutes either, but it would still be nice to have =(

Paul, that's a really unnessesary comment...it just appears to be provocative.
As for the vine idea, vines seem more like trees to me, like already mentioned. The things you can plant are yearly crops (wheat, cabbage) whereas trees, vines and such come back each year, so they're not planted.

Would wine be a druid only thing?

well there should be a big vineyard with rows of vines, and since there arent any walls then the vines can grow on poles that were set up for them

Geez, Setheiroth (or something like that

). Mind your own business. If you knew Salathe had 200+ grapes, maybe you would understand.
