Dear Malinne,
Two loves woven together can not stand the test of time. I am truly sorry I ever put you in this situation. Please forgive me. I am sorry. How do i word this... I guess i am not the right person for you.
Always yours,
Paul Laffing
The letter has many stains on it as if tears had soaked it.

A messenger runs up to Malinne and gives her a letter. He tells her he is ordered to wait for her response. The letter reads:
Dear Malinne,
I am sorry i did not tell you i loved you, but i was embarrassed and did not want to embarrass you. I am sorry. I am sorry. I am sorry... *the writing becomes wobbly and too hard to read*
Forever loving,
Paul

Paul walks into to after keeping watch for orcs. He walks up to the public forums. He takes out a piece of paper and starts writing.
Dear Malinne,
I sorely want to speak to you. I have done a lot of thinking, and I want to start again. I also have a present for you. Please find me as soon as possible. Please...
Always loving,
Paul
Paul Laffing takes a nail and hammer out of his pocket and pins the letter onto the forum board.

Dearest Paul,
I am sorry I have not spoken much to you. There is much I probably should say as well, but it is difficult for me to explain my feelings, which are very much mixed. You are very sweet and kind, and I apologize for not seeming to acknowledge your love.
Your gifts were lovely. You are the most thoughtful.
Love, Malinne

Dear Paul,
I meant to talk to you today, but I didn't see you around. I regret to tell you that I don't think I can make it to the festival of life. I'm so sorry. I just have too much to do, I'll simply be too busy to participate. Thank you for inviting me, though. If you want me to return the things you gave me, that is fine. I don't think I am the one for you... I will always have a strong love for you that will show in friendship, but being only seventeen, I don't think I know what love truly is. One day I will, and perhaps then we can be together. Until then, I just want to let you know that I will always be your friend. You mean a lot to me, as so many others.
Love Always,
Malinne

another message appears on the board.
Dear Malinne,
I completely understand and i would love to continue being friends with you. I would like you to keep the dresses. Maybe there is still hope of you being there. You never know. I am sorry i have not been able to speak to you in person. I have been on a business trip to open shipping lines with a northern town. I hope to see you soon.
Always loving,
Paul

Dear Malinne,
I am sorry, but i have left town because of all the bitter hate directed at me. I may be back some time in the future, but who's to tell? Do not worry about me. I have brought many fishing rods, and i have my lucky lamp. I shall think about you.
Always loving,
Paul

Paul?
What is going on? Hatred? What are you talking about? Don't leave! Please don't leave! You just can't! You're my friend...
Holding back tears she swore she wouldn't shed, Malinne looks at the ground
