Dreka awakes her home with her elven father was on fire. She looks all around and doesn't see him. As looks a little frantic but she hears his voice.

Sorry, but I can not help you. She heard her father say.
Gives us that creature you been hiding in there, Zalphry. A voice she couldn't recognize said.

She made it out.the house and hid in the woods. She saw five humans questioning Zalphry her elven father. She couldn't quite make out what they are saying. But she does know they are looking for her. After talking Zalphry said something that made the human angry and he stroke him down. Dreka screamed so loud it made the horses buck off the humans and she charged. She made all but one human run. He was ready to strike her down but she ignored him and went to her father.

So you show yourself orc. You will pay for killing my father. The man said.

What do you mean. I killed no one. Dreka said

Well it don't matter one orc is as good as another. You all look alike. He said

Trust me human no one looks like me. She said

When he went to strike she knocked him on his arse. She hit him so hard it shattered his face and knocked him out. She hurried her father and fled leaving her home. She boards a boat heading toward the islands of illarion. A new place a new beginning. When she arrived her first day was a blurr. But what she does member is meeting some new faces. Kreax, kruella, "Eagle", and malrian. malrian for some reason find her self attracted to. When she was sleeping in the inn in cadomyr he was all she could think about

A new day a new beginning. Dreka thinks to herself. As she checks out cadomyr. She reads the boards and her face changes to disappointment.

I like this place but living here just don't suit me. She says to herself.

After awhile she heads back home to galmair. Where she feels comfortable seeing orcs in the marketplace. They were not in a talking mood unless you were going to buy something. She hears a lovely sound by the fire. The sound makes her member how her father taught her to dance. And before she knew it she was dancing to the rythm of the lute.

Malrian woke up at morning to the smell of fresh breakfast. He got up and went to the living room to see the breakfast ready, his mother smiling at him.
"Good morning my son. Did you sleep well?" She asked in a compassionate voice.
"Yes mother. Thank you." Malrian answered happily. he had missed her so much.
He then started eating the omelette made of chicken eggs he bought at Galmair. He loved eating home cooked meals. He also thought about Dreka from last night. She was pretty nice for an orc.. And smart. She was a unique person and he appreciated that.
"Have you decided what to do yet?" His mother asked, concerned.
Malrian shrugged. "I don't know.. I would just return north and continue figthing for the cause but Jefferson Gray and his.. Undead army concerns me. I would hate to see something happen to you." He said with a worried tone. "I think I'll settle in Galmair for now. I'll do some mining to earn money." He used to do a lot of mining to build some muscles.. Besides he helped Kraex with his mining too so he was a decent miner.
His mother nodded. "I'm so proud of you, son. I hope you can reclaim your honor someday.."
Malrian disagreed but he didn't want to argue with his mother so he nodded too. After he finished his meal he said goodbye and left. He wore his shirt and pants and left his armor at home. He only had his pickaxe and sword with him. He used the teleporter to go to Galmair.
When he arrived at the marketplace to see if anyone was selling a good pickaxe he noticed Dreka dancing to some nice tune. He would join but he didn't know how to dance. "Greetings, Dreka! I see you're having a good time. I'm happy for you." He started clapping to the tune. "How do you like Illarion so far? I hope you didn't have problems." He asked in a gentle voice.

Mal! dreka says with ethuasim.

dreka dances her way to the man and her once random dancing now has a focus as she is basically dancing for Malrian. after a bit the music stops and she stops dancing. she looks at malrian

"heading to work?, she asks "i didnt interupt you did I?

Exhastion seeming now sets in as she finds her a place to sit. Dreka sits on the bench by the fire.

So how you? she asks, "me i am good. no met a strange man that called me a snagga and try to say i was juuma's orc. but i poliety explaind dreka is dreka's boss.

dreka speaks as she is patting the spot next to her for malrian to sit.

come tell me about yourself" she says

Malrian smiled as she danced for him. He enjoyed the attention.
"Yes, I was going to the mine." He shrugs. "But it can wait." He went and sat next to Dreka.
I am alright. I am still settling down though. Galmair's a lot of different than Cadomyr. How are you?" He asked in a kind voice. He then chuckled.
"Yeah, I know Juuma. Pay him some coins and he'll be your best friend. Not so friendly if you don't though. Glad to see he's still alive."
He rubs his beard in thought. "I'm not that interesting, really. I was born and raised at Cadomyr. I always wanted to be a knight so when I was old enough I started training.." He sighs. "After serving Cadomyr for a while I joined a noble house and became Kraex's squire. Everything was going so well until.." He looked to the fire, deep in thought. "There was this noble called Annabeth. She is dead now, sweet justice. Anyway, I was still young and I was a brat so I argued with her. She started threatening me." His voice and expression got noticable angrier as he kept talking. "After a while Kraex and S'rrt dragged me to the healer's house and demanded I apologize from our oh so noble countess. I told them I was right and explained my case. But they ignored my pleas and still forced me to apologize or they would beat me up to teach me a lesson. I said I would rather kill myself than to be treated like that. They spat on me and left." He carved the soil with his pickaxe. "As I said I would kill myself, I did. I couldn't accept the fact that my mentor would treat me like that over some egotist noble. I took my sword and stabbed it right through my guts. And before I knew it Cherga brought me back." He sighed again. "A lot of things happened after that, but to summarize I was disgraced and banished from Cadomyr so I went to the north and helped free the slaves there. I came back a few days ago." He explained. He looked down.

She looks at him with appolgatic eyes.

"well i am sorry, dreka said then tries to cheer him up "Well past is past cant change it. besides you have dreka now. so no need to be angry"

she looks at the lute player as if saying give me a song and he starts playing a song. she dances by herself for a moment he black dress trimed with green is flowing as if she was made of water. then reaches out her hand to malrian.

"come dance with me" She states.

He smiles a bit as he patted her shoulder. "You have nothing to be sorry for Dreka. You weren't there after all." He shrugged. "Yes. I don't want to change it anyway. Perhaps it all happened for a reason.. Destiny and all. I wonder what would happen if all that.. Didn't happen though. Perhaps I would be a knight by now." He put his pickaxe away before getting up. "But I'm over it now.. I think. Though I wouldn't hesitate to run a sword through those stupid lizards's heart if I had the chance." He spoke, revealing his true feelings. He looked around to make sure no one was eavesdropping. He was pleasantly surprised by her grace. "I don't know how to dance though.." He held her hand and clumsily tried to dance with her.

Dreka giggles at him trying to dance.

" your doing fine. We will get you dancing in no time. My father taught me. Told me that everyone should find away to express themselves without violence. Whether it be dancing, writing, music, or whatever one fancies." She said.

She takes him by the hand and starts teaching him the basics of dancing and how to lead.

"Every song has a tempo some slow some fast some both. You just have to listen to the beat. Like this one starts of slow. 1....2....3....4....1....2....3....4 then it picks up speed real fast. 1.2.3.4.1.2.3.4 " she says while showing him the steps to take.

She smiles as they dance together. They dance until the music stops.

"Thank you" she says as she leans in to kiss his cheek.

He kept his eyes at her feet trying to keep up.

"Thank you. I aprreciate it, Dreka." He said gratefully. He didn't agree with her father but he didn't say anything.

He tries his best to keep up with her. He seemed to be doing fine for a first time.

"Hey, this is just like dueling! I think I like it." He said happily.

After the dance was over he was tired but he enjoyed it. When she kissed him in the cheek his face got red in embarrassment.

"Y-you're welcome.." He mumbled.

Dreka giggles at his red face. And motions to sit down. Night has set in and stars shine bright dreka sits looking up to the stars.

"Such a lovely night don't you think. Well it's your turn ask me anything you want" dreka says.

She looks at him with her emerald eyes. Smiling

He chuckled when he noticed that it's night time now. "So much for mining, haha."

He sat next to Dreka and started watching the stars. "Yes. The nights at Cadomyr were so cold. But Galmair has a nice atmosphere." He smiled.

He kept looking at the stars. "Do you think I should return to Cadomyr? Kraex told me to come back home." He sighed and looked at her.

"If I go back it means I forgive them for what they did. A fresh new start. But I didn't. Besides, I don't want to take orders from a fanatic." He said, deep in thought.

He looked at her emerald eyes. They were so pretty. He wondered what her answer would be.

She smiles at him
"do what your heart tells you, If it were me i wouldn't. at least not until i was able to forgive them. but if you do go back, ill come with you if thats ok."

she looks at him again smiling.

"and if you get cold just cuddle up to me im naturally warm"

He nodded, agreeing with her.

"You're right. I'm glad to see someone agrees with me at least. And of course it's okay."

He gave her a smile. After all those years, someone was finally appreciating him. All those talk at Cadomyr.. How determined he is, how loyal he was, how much spirit he has.. All they wanted from him was to serve them unquestioningly. No one appreciated him for who he were before. Well, except his mother.

"Yes, it is pretty cold. Thank you."

He lied. He got used to cold at north but he wouldn't mind cuddling with her. He wrapped an arm around her.

"Dreka, I wish you were here all those years ago. I needed you so much.."

"me too, but i would probaly have punched them in the teeth. the way they treated you." she says smiling

she holds him close looking at the stars. she remains quiet for a long time. until a small snoring sound is heard as she has fallen asleep in malrians arms

"I wanted to, believe me. But if I did they would probably execute me or something."

He continued watching the stars with her. It was so peaceful. He was getting sleepy when he heard her snoring. It was dangerous to sleep outside so he left his pickaxe there and started carrying her. He could have taken her to his home but he didn't want to people to start nasty rumors about them so he went to an inn. He put her in one of the rooms, paid the inkeeper and left. He picked up his pickaxe and went home to sleep.

Waking in the inn almost sad he wasn't with her but glad he was an honorable man. Dreka got dressed and decided to walk around the outskirts of galmair taking in the morning mountain fresh air. Greeting everyone she comes to. Feeling good she is in a place that does not fear or resent her.
