They call us criminals, heretics, cowards.
Yet what of their crimes? When we defended them while they slept, they turned to slander and lies. We fought demons and cultists alike, though we weren't renowned as heroes, and we were not militant visionaries either. We were cast down time and again for naught! We were attacked and left to fight for our own safety, the Don never offered us the safety he so proudly presents! We were betrayed by those holy and noble orders when we requested help!
You call us Villains? You're a fool and a halfwit. Can the gods themselves even judge character correctly? The necromancer and body snatcher of Bragon... The Terror lizard of Tanora... Does Illarion know what the paladin Titus did in the fray? He abandoned his ally Tyan Masines, slipped through the fighting and went down out of sight to attack an unarmed and unarmored elfess. Yet I am the coward? Gods damn all you freaks and hypocrites! Is there no true honor anymore? True goodness? No.. there isn't, so then I ask what is evil if there is no good? Cruelty and death are only parts of the circle that is life.
What a land of hypocrisy and lies! When we seek our justice for the crimes against us we are branded criminals hah! When the Don demanded my head for not paying, the records even said I kept donating more... What lies has he wrought? What Injustice!?
For my blood, for hundreds of gold, for my freedom.. I gave all of that to Galmair and you fools don't think that I won't and cannot take all of it back. For those of you who continue to defend the Don and his lies, and scumbaggery, I will take your blood, your gold, and your freedom! I am no longer a victim of this predatory game!
It does not matter whether we were good men, or bad. The Gods themselves cannot even say. However what matters is that few stood against many. The Gods of war shall grant me revenge, and if not? Then to hell with them!
