I propose we make it possible for the characters to sit down in chairs when they are over them...this would make the world much more realistic and fun I would think...

And the next step will be a better animation of the fights, mining, trading and so on, i hope.
It would make the game more attractive.

This would be quite much work for our lazy graphics designer. *g*
Actually, all those graphics had to be implemented into the client. This would not only mean a huge download, but also increased memory requirements to run it. Therefore the developers think clearly about every graphic they put into the game. If it is not really needed or a little effect, like a marker or something, does it as well, then they rather use this space for something else.

There are certain things it is pointless to put a poll about, becuase everyone know's it's desirable.

Yes, everyone admits it would be nice to sit in chairs.
Yes, everyone admits it would be nice to see your char wear their clothes.
Yes, everyone admits it would be nice to see your char attack.
etc.. etc..

It's just that they all require a lot of graphical work, client work and server work. And there are a lot of things that are more important in our, the developers, opionions.

I would rather have smarter NPCs than be able to sit in a chair.
I would rather have real quests in the games than to see what clothes my char is wearing.
I would rather have better item creation than one ore/one coal than to see my char attack, etc...

There is still a ton of things on the to-do list for the client and server, and prettier graphics at this point is not real high on the list, although there is someone else who is working on those.

i totally agree with serpardum.
making sitting characters would cause a lot of technical problems, which of course could be solved---no doubt about that!---but the time spent for that could be used much better for other things, as serpardum pointed out.
therefore, it will not be possible in near future to jump, sit down, see a fight etc. even if it would be nice.

Besides, this game is not THE BEST because of it's graphical/technical thingies. They're only a pleasent bonus

I also have to agree with Mishrack, although it would be boring if everything we wanted we got.
