Craft balancing? Who needs it?

Why is there still arguments and large Dev projects for this? Wouldn't it make more sense to keep the NPCs as they are (plz stop changing) and let each town have every static tool?

Crafter's seek to do many crafts because of how the crafts intertwine, as far as I know there was no arguments or confusion regarding "craft distribution" in the older clients.

Really I just want to see a simple solution to this. Problem that has gone on long enough to drive anyone bonkers, especially our devs

I'm entirely in favor of all towns having every tool.

Isn't it enough that Cadomyr has no local fish, meat or farm land? They would still have to import all resources, even if they had cooking tools in town.
Same for Runewick but with ore. Cadomyr again with wood. Galmair with cloth. As long as stuff has to be imported that alone encourages trade between towns.
