Dear Galmairians,

I feel it is important that one put clearly the latest troubles with House Stonescale as possible to you, so that a clear understanding
of events are available to you and that the many scriblings of the implicated house in its defence can be seen for what the are,
"a guilt response and attempt to deflect a growing surge of disdain and suspicion they are now reciving"

Firstly the matter of the person "Cheaol" it would seem this fellow did flee some form of harrassment from house
stonescale in Cadomyr to Galmair ,unfortunately he was persued and threatened by an armed duo from the house namely
Lono and Fooser.(Fooser as is well know has run a long campaign of slander and falsehoods against our Don and Town)
As this threat was commited in Galmair naturally our newly formed military sought reasons for this act, threatening
the life of a Galmairian even a new citizen makes no differance ,all our people are afforded this protection
new or otherwise.


It would seem that the interferance of the Galmairian authorities was seen as a hinderance to Stonescales plots
here in our town so they took steps to "put us in our place"
Firstly the attack by the houses champion on Commander Brawndarra ,this act was also commited on Galmairian
soil and what better way to undermine the military than to cut off its head or cower the commander with fear,
unfortunately for them our commander is of solid stuff and Cherga did not agree with Stonescales motives


Having failed to remove the commander another attempt was made this time with poison,a most unusual method
one would imaging from a folk whom claim honour as there code that this would be the most repugnant method
possible.Obviously honour has many variations.

The poison used was a rare and very expensive type that took some great effort on my part to ensure the commander
recovered ,in my opinion only those with great wealth and dark connections could obtain such .


Here is a statement tendered by the poisoner herself after a number of days of questioning and refusing to give up the truth
she did then see the hopelessness of her situation, and of her own accord after being asked for the truth without duress did pen
this statement.

The day of the poisioning. I was ordered to poison brawn. from fooser. he gave me the poison. and told me how to soak it in on the apples. So i dipped five of the apples.I was told to lie and say i wanted to help bring down stonescale and to attack cadomyr itself. and so i went to talk to brawn. and told him all that i was ordered to. and he told me to get out so i left the apples on the table. On my way out i started to feel bad. and knowing he would not let me in i aske jerem to check on him. and picked some more apples to send him. jerem came back and said i was to be detained. so he escorted me to the council room. poor fellow. can tell he never done this. he didnt search me. so with the fireplace burning i threw all evidence that linked me to the poison. and feeling guilty i let my hunger that i was fasting catch up and let myself starve hoping cherga would keep me. But she didnt. said i was not finished so i then relized i need to live. and when i was coming to turn myself in. lono, and finely took me in custdy. and then they said they were going to turn me in. after threating me to say i was innocent. then teptoc showed and helped escort me he gave me a reasuuring look. so being scared i did what i was told. shortly after i arroved to the mines starling came to me and told me the same thing and called me crazy. It wasnt until later when i realized i was being thrown to the wolves. to save there skins. So i feel i no longer have to lie and remain silent. That is the truth and am sorry i did not tell you sooner.

This then brings us to the matter of the election .House stonescales champion Vern Burhammer did give up his citizenship
in Cadomyran an then obtain Galmair citizenship for a day so he might pervert the elections outcome to suit his house's agenda.
Unfortunately for them we have now a fairer and less vulnerable system so not as much damage could be done ,
however this Cadomarians parting quip was "well atleast we got one in" an alarming statement to be sure,
this will be fully investigated.

All this including the lamentable scriblings of the house Stonescales scribes can be sumed up in a few words "House stonescale has sought
to interfere and pervert events in Galmairian for there own ends with violence, poison or gold it matters not ,these are hostile acts and something
all citizens of Galmair need to know now for there safety !

I would like to come forward with information. The Galmairian people are being misled! I attended the recent election but kept my mouth shut as I no longer know who is working with who. And for that reason I will remain anonymous until I find a fellow Galmairian worthy of my trust. I am a member of the Galmairian Army and for some weeks I have noticed strange behavior with Ufedhin. He is known to have connections with Vern Burnhammer, he made a trade pact with Fooser, and at one point in the past he even forsook the Don and left Galmair! I have personally seen Ufedhin speaking with Stonescale on a number of occasions, either in quiet places in Galmair or just outside of it. I overheard Ufedhin speak about wanting to be a chancellor but needing them to pretend as if they were feuding in public so that he may keep the Army's support. I have no doubt in my mind that Vern made a slip of the tongue at the election and that Ufedhin is their candidate of choice and is spying and working for Cadomyr! When I find a Galmairian that I can trust with such an investigation I will gladly hand over all of my witness testimony to them! I have times, dates, and locations, but sadly they were only speaking out loud that one time I already described.

I regret to inform you of another attack on our Military a few of our army members entered the spider to caves to seek wealth ,when
the champion of house Stonescale well equipt with combat potions entered the cave will full intentions to attack and kill our troops.
Fortunately his attack though sending two of our warriors to Cherga also ended with himself paying a visit to the cold Goddesses realm.

One could well speculate as to the author of the former attached notes.According to information from Cadomyr
it seems this mister Burnhammer is also in the habit of threatening his superiours.

If yer fed up then do something productive and maybe everyone else can git a break from doing your job and we'd be a little happier. Or admit yer incompetant or in league wit these foreign attackers trying te git tha pests out of tha city ye think ye own. The queen's subjects and lands be in danger and all ye say is "thats not my duty". Due te yer incompetance and lack of motivation I wos ambushed in tha spider caves and after slaying two men i had fallen te tha last then attacked again on our own soil while i wos weak. (This is an interesting way to sign things ,and yes mister Burnhammer we do know who for sure now thank you ,not that it really was debated but its good to have things out in the open especially as to who has drawn the blade first)

I would most strongly warn all Galmairians to avoid this individual as it would seem as his houses attempts to cause strife between Cadomyr and Galmair have been foiled so has his mind slipped into a maniacal murderous state.

Evening fellar Galmairians,

Being so that I was there and, I was the one who sent Vern to t'cross, I can confirm this. Now, I ain't never had a quarrel with Vern 'afore and actually we besides this event have been quite the happy chappy's with one'n'other. But! He came looking fer the trouble in the spider cave. He did attack Brawndara, sire commander, so, being that he's a higher rank and anyway I'll fight along side a fellar Galmairian t'me death, I lunged in t'protect him! Swoosh!

Now, I know ye all just think ol' Jefferson's just an elderly psychopath and, I know Vern will want t'remove my head fae my shoulders, aye, but know this! I done my sworn duty! If ye don't like it then that's tough luck. And guess wha'? I'd do it all over again!
