Simple proposal for future reference, let me reiterate for future reference not saying anything about current people.
Summoning has always been a mystical practice thus following magic.
Constructs alter matter to create a mindless thing that does essentially what it was programmed to do. Since it effects the changing or altering of matter it should fall under the domain of alchemy.
