Aktuell ist der Weg zu den Wohnungen in unserer Stadt entweder sehr weit oder führt durch die Slums. Beides ist wahrscheinlich ein Grund dafür, dass nicht alle Wohnungen vermietet sind und dem Don damit regelmäßig erhebliche Einnahmen verloren gehen.
Würde man die hintere Wand am Durchgang zwischen Groktan Flintsplints Büro und der Wache durchbrechen und den Durchgang mit dem Gemmenschacht Treppenhaus verbinden, ergäbe sich ein sicherer und kurzer Weg.

Wir könnten uns vorstellen, die Arbeiten zu organisieren.

Currently the way to the flats is either very long or goes through the slums. Both might be reasons why the Don lost month for month money due to not rented flats.
One could open a passage into the wall at the end of the room in between Groktan Flintsplint’s office and the guardhouse and connect it with the ‘Gemmenschacht’ staircase. A short and save way would be the result.

We could organize the required work.

Slimes and other things have come from those toilets. Not only the lack of privacy for those that happen to be simply walking through but the smell that seems to permeate through that area to get to the back stairs would turn most off the short way to the Flats. Through the back of the established buildings would be helpful in initially showing the Flats and a nice shortcut for those that live there.

The flats are empty because they are ugly and uncomfortable like poop. No one sane would spend coins to live in those stinking holes. No shortcut ever will change that fact.
