Is there a problem with this skill?

Making just 5 brick and I have a firing brick skill of 1
Smithing skill of 2 making pins and chisels
Cook/bake, 8 ham, 66 bread roll (over a period of 2-3 days) and can't get even a 1 skill.

There have been reports that there might be a bug with the first baking skill point (I think bread rolls where especially mentioned as a problem). Try a few other hams, or to smoke fish (Smoking can increase the cooking skill up to 20).

I assume we have a Mantis ticket for that bug?

I was unable to duplicate the bug, but it took my test character approximately 140 bread rolls to hit level 1.

Im over 200 and I've yet to hit it, so I may or may not be able to confirm there is an issue, we'll see what the next hundred or so rolls changes (if anything)

Fishing is RP wise no option for Yridia- so I try to make mushroom soup and cheese instead.

For those who observe low learning success in certain skills: The skillgain depends on attributes. Each skill has a lead attribute. For crafting, it is dexterity. So if you have low dexterity, you will learn slowly.
