Dear Elaralith

I'm sorry if you were offended by me asking you to help Brendan through a life threatining situation. He was willing to risk his soul for me, one one condition, that I made up with you, I don't hate you infact to behonest I love you like a granmother, a wise old woman who always knows what to do in every situation. As you have refused to help me, I ask only for a length of rope, because I still have to learn patcience, you tried to teach my that, and mother had sucsess with it, I was patcient with you when I was talking to you, well when mother and I were talking to you, I let you have your moral trash talk which would have angered me in the past, then when you let me speak, I spoke and you listened politley, then mother spoke and you done the same, then we asked you to help us, and you refused then I missed somthing because I was thinking and you stormed off, I heard mother try to reason with you, and what she said was true, you are the only person I trust to be able to do that. So back to the rope, I want your rope for three reasons, the first it; It's the best quality on the island if you made it, the second; is that you have condemed me to die as you have refused this, and the final one is; I'm still an impatcient cow and I'm not giving death the satisfaction of watching me wait!!!

Signed
Moathia

Moathia places the tear drop covered paper into an envelope and seals it with wax, before handing it to the messanger. "Get it to Elaralith and then wait untill she reads it, ask if she is going to reply, and wait for it if she says yes, if not get her to give you a meter of her rope, when you get back I will give you, yur payment." She says this asthe messanger is getting ready to leave and he nods in understanding.

Elaralith sees a messenger running to her with a letter and gets up from her prayers to receive it. After briefly scanning it, she seems to be in a mix of emotions. She then proceeds to write a reply...in spidery flowing elven script it reads:

Dear Moathia,

You have no need for being sorry for offending me as I was in no way offended. The thing that caused me much disappointment was the fact that you always were so impatient, and liked to take out your anger at will on me. I am glad to hear that you have learned some patience that befits an Elf. If there is any help that I can give you I will be happy to offer it. One thing that must come before anything and is of utmost importance is for you to learn the lesson of respect for your Elders. For example the way you refer to what I say as "moral trash talk" is very rude and must stop. In no way will I offer you that which you plan on using to commit that which is wrong before the eyes of the gods. Again, I will help you as far as my ability. But I would like to say this. I cannot have an apprentice that is too prideful to learn and hear. For the problem I see with you is that you seem to think that anything that I have to say is of no good for you. If that is the way of things I will be forced to let you go...
Elara be with you, child!

-Elaralith

Elaralith then seals the letter and hands it back to the messenger. "See that this gets to Moathia safely. And here take this gold as your payment." Elaralith gazes in the direction the messenger has run long after his figure is beyond sight.
