Hello, maybe it's more than obvious and I'm overlooking something, but how do you make branches? Do you make them from boughs with a hatchet or some other tool?

I am not 100% sure, but I think you get them from using a saw on trees? Try that out maybe, until someone comes around who can confirm it.

it's quite a while... but last time I gathered branches from Naldor trees and apple trees. You get time while choping the tree with your hatchet.

When I use a saw on a tree it says "You must stand next to a workbench to use the saw", so nope. Thanks for the quick answer though.

I get only boughs and regular wood, when I do that.

I believe you get branches when you cut down cherry trees.

Branches are from cherry trees, using your axe/hatchet. Boughs are from Naldor and Apple trees.

How are glass ingots made?
I have tried using the glass melting oven and the furnace. I have glass blow pipe, crucicle-pincers, wooden paddle, tongs, sand, potash and coal.
I can't figure out what I haven't tried. Glass ingots being the base of the trade, it shouldn't be so hard.

Yes, it is quartz sand. I took coarse sand and ran it through the sieve, also bought sand from NPC, same sand. The problem is , no static tool gives me the option to make glass ingots. The furnace lets me make metal ingots. The glass blowing oven lets me makes glasses, but neither gives the option for glass ingots. Or is it done with another tool? All other forms of crafting give a message " You need to hold "X" tool in your hand" Or " you need "X" to make ..." Why isn't this done for glass ingots?

1) dig raw sand -> sieve the sand --> "sieved" sand
2) cut a tree -> making fire with the wood --> take the ash
3) 1 sieved sand + 1 ash = 1 glass ingots (using the glass blow pipe, using the glass oven - i think it works when you double klick on the oven)

p.s. sometimes it is a little bit tricky - working depends on you´re position to the oven

I believe that you start the craft of making ingots by using the oven and not the tool. one sifted sand plus one ash gives one glass ingot.
